Please find a better way to login or gather information to account for times when travelers WiFi and connectivity isn’t great. ### 2/5 — Why have an app?? *2026-08-09, version 15.19.0* Booked a tour 3 months ago for a birthday gift for my husband. It’s now time to go on the tour, and every time I tried to view my reservation or pay for tickets on the app, I got an “Oops! Something went wrong” message. Finally figured out I could only access it from my Mac. We go to the meeting point and it’s a locked garage door. We tried to contact the guide, no answer. We call customer support and they can’t reach the guide either. We booked a tour for our family, they took our money but didn’t include my kid in the booking. So there weren’t enough tickets for us to tour the place we traveled thousands of miles to see. An unbelievable letdown. They gave us a partial refund though. To add insult to injury. They were unable to refund my money. I received an email requesting I email them with my bank account and routing number for them to direct deposit. There are so many ways to refund money. Snail mail is a better option than emailing my account information. Book through ANY OTHER APP!! My friend and I were left for dead in the middle of nowhere due to being 8 minutes late to a meeting point and told to figure it out ourselves. We are tourists in a foreign country and don’t speak the language, we got lost for a few minutes and they drove off with all our stuff still on the bus. Again, we were abandoned in an obscure “city”/town in the middle of nowhere, hours from where we were staying. I have actually had nightmares about this scenario happening. We booked through Viator but Viator operated the tour through a company called “walking tours”. Viator did not care in the slightest and didn’t even give us a refund. Although the customer service at Viator was responsive, they were not able to get the refunds on these tours that they should have from the tour operators after not delivery the right level of experience.
