## What is Vibe Search?

Ever scrolled forever looking for one photo — that rainy-day cafe window, the whiteboard from last month, the birthday dinner where everyone wore blue?

Vibe Search finds photos the way you actually remember them: you describe the moment in your own words.

WHY NOT JUST THE BUILT-IN SEARCH?
Your photo app matches names of things: beach, dog, cake. Vibe Search understands whole sentences — moods, situations, context — because Google's Gemini AI reads each photo like a person would and writes a rich description of it.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Connect your library — or try the sample photos first, no permission needed
2. Gemini AI describes each photo once
3. Type what you remember. Matching runs on your device, in seconds

PRIVACY, HANDLED HONESTLY
• Photos are sent to Google Gemini only for the one-time analysis, and Google auto-deletes them after 55 days
• The descriptions and search index live only on your device
• Your library is never uploaded to search it — matching happens locally
• No account, no ads

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.10 — 2026-09-02

• Fixed photos being analyzed twice. Reopening the app could start a second
  overlapping analysis, so the same photo was sent for processing twice —
  analysis now finishes sooner and uses less data
• Progress no longer goes backwards. It could jump from "15/21" back to
  "10/21"; that is fixed

### 1.0.9 — 2026-08-29

• Large photos now get indexed. ProRAW, panoramas and other big files were
  silently skipped before, so they never showed up in search — they are
  resized automatically now
• Analysis finishes properly. Progress no longer sticks at "17/21" when a
  photo cannot be processed; skipped photos are shown as skipped
• Easier to turn photo access back on. The Open Settings button now stays
  on screen instead of disappearing after a few seconds

### 1.0.8 — 2026-08-14

• Vibe Search now speaks English — the whole app, not just the store page
• Better search accuracy: photo descriptions are generated in your language
• Fixed a layout issue that cut off the bottom of the first screen on smaller iPhones

### 1.0.7 — 2026-08-06

• You can now rate Vibe Search right in the app after a successful search
• Full English App Store page
• Small fixes and polish
