vibEats: Restaurants Near Me

Every Premium feature used to live behind a list buried in Settings. You could use the app for weeks and never learn that Dining Planners, the Food Passport or the Dining Journal existed — our fault, not yours. There is now a "Do more with Premium" shelf on the Home screen. It sits below your nearby results, so the free app proves itself first, and you can swipe through what each feature does before deciding anything. Tap a tile and the purchase screen opens explaining that feature rather than a generic pitch. If you already own Premium, the shelf does not appear. HONEST PRICING ON THE PURCHASE SCREEN The Premium screen used to show a crossed-out "$19.99" beside the real price, labelled a launch discount. vibEats has never sold Premium at $19.99, so that was not a real saving and it is gone. You now see one number: the actual price from the App Store, in your own currency. Premium is still a single one-time purchase — no subscription, no renewal, nothing to cancel — and it still includes every premium feature we add in the future, at no extra cost. SHARING A PLACE NOW SHARES THE APP Share a restaurant with a friend and the message now includes a link to vibEats, so they can grab it if they want it. Instagram Story cards carry the same link. Previously a shared place pointed only at Apple Maps. A SUPPORT SECTION THAT ACTUALLY HELPS Settings has a proper Support section: Help & support, Contact us, Terms of Use, and a direct link to leave a rating, alongside the Privacy screen that was already there. The website behind those links has been rewritten. There is a real support page answering the questions we actually get: why location is not working, how to edit or delete a rating, how to restore a Premium purchase on a new device, and how to delete everything the app has stored. ABOUT YOUR DATA vibEats has no account, no server and no analytics. Your ratings, photos, collections, searches and location stay on your device and are never sent to us. Location is used only while you are using the app. Photos have their location data stripped before they are stored. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected, and that is the whole story. Place information comes from Apple Maps, which does not provide photos, star ratings, reviews or opening hours.
