## What is Vibes Kitchen?

Vibes Kitchen is a recipe management & food-costing app for restaurants, cafés and bars. Keep your recipes organized with photos, and from costing dishes to building the shopping and order lists you actually need, the tedious calculator-and-spreadsheet work is handled for you. Save your recipes and ingredients, and the math and tallying are done automatically, so pricing and ordering get much easier.

● Recipe management: keep recipes organized in one list, save with photos, archive the ones you don't use
● Idea notes: capture dish ideas anywhere—ingredients like “- chicken 250g” are recognized as you type, then converted to a recipe in one tap
● Food cost: per-serving and total, calculated for you
● Cost ratio & price: ratio from a price, or a suggested price from a target ratio
● Shopping & order lists: needed purchases and order quantity, totaled from how much you're making
● Ingredient management with price history
● Natural units: cost by g, ml and pieces—or straight in tbsp, tsp and pinches
● Prep (sub-recipes): build sauces and stocks into your costs
● Prep calculator: ingredient amounts convert automatically to however much you're making (one-tap ×2 / ×3)
● Recipe sharing: send recipes as a file to another Vibes Kitchen. Hand staff view-only copies — re-sending updates them in place
● Allergen management: set allergens per ingredient and each recipe totals them automatically, with a chart formatted for your region
● Ingredient labels: auto-generate an ingredient label from any recipe (text / PDF / image), print via AirPrint or label printers — great for packaged and takeout items
● Tax: switch tax-included / tax-excluded
● Multiple stores, with copy between them
● iCloud sync across devices on the same Apple ID
● PDF / CSV / text export, multilingual & multi-currency

• Allergen safeguards: removing a saved allergen now asks for confirmation, and reviewed ingredients can be locked to prevent accidental changes. Plus a heads-up when an unusually large number of allergens is selected.
• See shared-recipe updates at a glance: received recipes show NEW / Updated badges that clear when opened, and the recipe shows its received date — so staff always know they're looking at the latest version.
