I have seen so far. Sounded very promising, so I gave it a shot. Winter Lights may be the best immersive environment I have ever seen. I paid the $10 to take a look at this app, and quite frankly I am very impressed. There are a couple of other immersive environments that are also quite nice in here. But the winter lights is worth the $10 in my opinion. Great job. I laid on my back and looked up into the falling snow and actually fell asleep. Because I had my AVP unplugged, I was woken by the less than 20% tone about an hour or so later. This version feels claustrophobic and cheesy. Meditating in the Apple’s immersive and realistic environments with soothing music from iTunes feels so much better (and free). Vibescape offers a lot of poorly constructed sceneries, and not a single decent environment to meditate in. If you like meditating in a half baked environment, a photo still, or you don’t care too much of the environment then this may work for you. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear you were disappointed. In addition to all the new environments which have been a ton of work to create — the original version 1 photo-sphere environments will be getting redone in upcoming versions so hopefully you'll come back and consider updating your review! ### 5/5 — Updating my review to five stars *2024-07-31* I was one of the first to download this app and also one of the first to be very critical because I felt that its imagery in its advertising did not match the quality of the assets in the app. However, since then the developer has painstakingly developed a mountain top environment on par with Apple’s multimillion dollar ones. This is a testament to the hard work and commitment of this developer to set the benchmark for what a single individual, let alone an independent team, can achieve if they really dedicate themselves to create for the quality of the Apple Vision Pro 4K screens from scratch, compared to an entire department of graphics artists, landscape artists, sound designers, 3-D designers, and spatial engineers at Apple with a million dollar budget and much longer lead time. This is a remarkable achievement and puts all other lazy attempts to shame. We completely rebuilt one of Vibescape's very first environments – a stark, minimalist, black sand space – using everything we've learned and developed over the past two years. Listen to Clair de Lune and watch the night sky light up with a dazzling display of audio-reactive waves that spill their light onto the entire, 2 km landscape. Look for the audio-reactive icon in the ambient sounds to find two additional tracks that light up the sky. We've also completely updated the Spatial Video player in the app using the native Spatial immersive capabilities of visionOS 26. This makes viewing the Spatial Video vignettes much more pleasant and comfortable. ### 3 — 2025-02-25 All new Birch Grove environment with Vibescape 3! Wow, what a year. We all took a leap onto this new platform and it’s been an amazing ride so far. Vibescape was a day one app, and since then has been featured in Best Spatial Apps and a handful of other categories. I started this app because I wanted to transport people to incredible spaces where they could simply, well, vibe. Since that first version, a ton of work has gone into elevating the immersive experiences in Vibescape. Version 3 is the most ambitious yet, with an all new Birch Grove environment that features subtle moving foliage, mist, and moss that feels like you can reach out and touch it. Creating this release was an enormous lift. There’s so much complexity in nature and there’s a real art in figuring out what to feature, what to edit out, and how to fit it all into something that can actually run. Reflect by the rippling tide pools, and enjoy the new Relaxation guided meditation as dream-like waves crash and mist envelopes the costal forest. Additionally, based on your feedback, the timer is less prominent – smaller, and closer to the ground, so that it isn't obscuring the view. The guided audio is no longer anchored to the timer, so you don't have to stare in its direction the entire time. (Don't worry, the environment's audio is still spatial!) Finally, Progressive immersion is brought back in this version – so you can dial the immersion up or down to your liking.
