Instead of downloading individual maps for each town, there is now one map, that covers all of Victoria. It includes hillshading, and contour lines (which can be turned off in Settings). Changed the Offline map engine to Maplibre GL. Converted all offline datasources to vector sources, dramatically increasing speed and reducing size. Added all map data layers from online mode, to offline mode, including large layers previously to large to include offline. Added Settings for Offline mode. ### 3.1.0 — 2025-09-12 Added a new layer, split over two layers, called Watercoarses. It's split between 'east' and 'central & west'. It can be combined with the newly added Layer Filtering feature, to find only watercoarses not on the banned list. Improved all offline maps. Increased resolution, added topographical lines, and added hill shading. Note that you will need to delete and re-download your offline maps, to get the new versions. Optimised offline map download speeds using a sliding window algorithm, gained a 18-25% improvement in download speeds. For example, you can use Layer Filtering on the "Mines & Shafts" layer, to only show you Mines or Shafts that have produced more than 100,000 grams. Or to show you only mines with a gold grade higher than 10 grams / tonne. This is all possible using Layer Filtering, and it can be accessed in "My Settings" (the gear icon in the top left).
