### 5/5 — Cannot download paid software.

My wife purchased this as a Christmas gift to me in December 2026.  I’m beginning to think this is a piece of junk.  I have tried to download the paid for the bird identification software but keep getting the message that my payment method failed, even though I hadn’t entered any credit card info.  I cannot open the “Acount information”, nor go I get decipherable no responses from the company.  Anyone have any suggestions?  Please respond to my request.

Worked great for the first month or so.  Then started having some issues with live view not working and videos not playing.  Customer service was helpful with email replies.  *I think* part of the problem was due to a new Plume WiFi extender we had installed, because the second I unplugged that things started working better.  I moved the extender to a different room and haven't had as many problems since.  Video has been working as it should.  Live view works most of time now.  Love the night vision.  The only thing I would change about this is I wish it was 4K instead of 2K.

Waste of money. Everything behind a paywall 1 year after purchase. You won’t see any birds cause it only starts 10 seconds after it’s triggered. It also only takes a single image unless you subscribe. I’ve seen birds arrive to feeder and image or video is too slow. Garbage

So we enjoyed a brief few weeks of live feed, until the app update came out. We have only had 2 brief live feeds since updating; when I try live feed, it just times out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, my WiFi is strong, and the brief, 10 second video clips are frequent, so frequent really, that I have to silence them when I’m at work. I have repeatedly messaged support, and mostly just receive that same answers each time, which were, and continue to be unsuccessful. At this point, I feel like a refund is in order, as we primarily purchased this product for the live feed.

I can’t figure out how this is rated 4.5. I would rate it 0 if allowed. 
Nothing works the way it is supposed to and each time I report something, another feature gets taken away. The latest comment I received “this behavior is to be expected from Vico Nature”. What, that nothing works as advertised. I am stuck with 4 bird feeders that don’t do anything. It doesn’t recognize a squirrel, dog, a hummingbird which is sad because one is a hummingbird feeder. 
Oh “just keep sending feedback and we will add it to the algorithm”?
For a year now? Now they have changed how to report so basically you can’t report the real issue. Winter, the thing is even worse. 
I literally have to take a screenshot because the app doesn’t do its job and google what the bird is. They take a week or more to get back to you. If they do get back. But you don’t reply in a few hours, they close your ticket. 
Sometimes they close your ticket without replying. 
Then they act like a person is an idiot. One person says one thing, the next something else. I feel I should be reimbursed as I bought the feeders based on the app and what the app had to offer. At the point I am at, I just want a universal app that works on my feeders. 
I wholeheartedly believe the ratings are fake. If it was just one feeder with an issue, that I could understand.

With the new app update the white light does not come on anymore at night been trying to figure it out with the help support team but they don’t have a clue they are now asking for my Amazon order information and I have given them the model number I think that should have been enough. I really think that they don’t know what the problem is????
