1. Очень много вопросов перед тем как начать
2. Текст вперемешку на русском и Английском, не совсем удобно для тех, кто не знает английский

To study a language you need to practice speaking. Reading and studying books help, but real progress is made through talking. Hence why Omegle is such a popular website. It grants people the ability to talk and receive feedback. Of course, not everyone you find will be the best teacher. That’s why this is great. It corrects pronunciation, grammar, and will speak back to you if you’d like to practice keeping conversation. Plus home made educational videos. It’s amazing.

Great for learning but when you speak, I’ve noticed in Chinese and Japanese, no matter how many times you say it right, it marks you wrong. Also would love some other languages like Arabic, Albanian and Norwegian.

**Developer response:** You're right, the speech check is too strict on Chinese and Japanese right now, it should never mark you wrong when you actually said it correctly, and that one is on us to fix. I'm keeping a running list of language requests too, Arabic, Albanian and Norwegian are all noted. Thanks for taking the time to write this out, it genuinely helps.

Приложение сырое, обучение? Его нет! Просто повтори за мной и так все время! Попросил вернуть деньги, а в ответ тишина!!! Может и подойдет очень не требовательным пользователям, но по мне - не стоит 20+ баксов в месяц!

Непонятное приложение: часть сделана на русском языке, часть на Английском. Бесконечные, однотипные вопросы про цели изучения языка. Под конец опроса теряется желание вообще взаимодействовать с этой платформой. Приложение, видимо, тоже писали с ИИшкой) Не доработано

Прямо сейчас мы добавляем недостающий перевод на русский. Вопросы про цели тоже слишком длинные, справедливое замечание. Извините, что у вас осталось такое впечатление.

Sorry but we have to pay??? Some people who are most likely teens or kids using the app. like is there a way around it so you dont need to pay? Because everytime i click X it keeps taking me to the paying form and i really do not wanna pay??? Are you able to make it optional where you DONT have to pay? But you can still learn?

Честно, бред какой-то, зачем постить для России данное приложение, если там только часть на русском языке? Полчаса опросов и в итоге ты упираешься с платную подписку, без вариантов триала! Причем после каждого отказа, выскакивает кобы колесо фортуны, где тебе из всех вариантов выпадает всегда 75% скидки, сколько бы ты не крутил 🤣
Сразу наводит на сомнения. Обычное приложение. Удалил после всех вышеописанных манипуляций.

**Developer response:** Вы правы по обоим пунктам. Выпустить приложение в России с переводом только наполовину, это наш косяк, мы как раз сейчас доделываем русский перевод. Колесо скидок, которое всегда останавливается на одном и том же числе, действительно выглядит как манипуляция, это справедливое замечание, я его пересмотрю. Длинный опрос перед тем, как вы сможете начать пользоваться приложением, мы тоже уберем. Простите, что все это выглядело именно так.

I have tried using it repeatedly. Each and every time it just goes crazy! A circle starts spinning at the bottom of the screen and does not allow you to proceed with the lesson. 

I thought of uninstalling and reinstalling but when I try to change the password I am told I would be logged off and a password reset link would be sent. This does not happen. It will not log out nor does it send a reset link. 

There is no way to contact the developer as when you click on the support link you are redirected to the initial sales page.  This is extremely frustrating!

### 1/5 — Overall, l found Victor AI dissappointing and Not worth the Price.

I’m very disappointed with Victor AI.

First of all, there is no free trial. Before I could even properly test the app, I had to choose and pay for either a monthly or yearly subscription. I paid for one month, but after completing only six lessons, I realized it was not worth the money.

The app design is confusing, overloaded, and difficult to navigate. Each lesson contains very little actual learning content, while there are too many unnecessary questions and interactions that make the learning process tiring and inefficient.

The biggest issue is that I barely learned anything despite spending time on the lessons. The app feels overpriced, especially for students, and the value provided does not justify the subscription cost.

Another drawback is that the learning process relies heavily on speaking exercises. If I am traveling, in public, or simply in a situation where speaking out loud is uncomfortable, I cannot effectively complete the lessons. On top of that, the microphone does not always work properly, which makes the experience even more frustrating.

I would strongly recommend that the developers:

* Offer a free trial period.
* Simplify the interface and make it more user-friendly.
* Include more educational content in each lesson.
* Reduce the subscription price.
* Add alternative learning methods that do not require constant speaking.

Overall, I found Victor AI disappointing and not worth the price.

I was not satisfied with the apps heavy use of ai content and lack of level gauging in the beginning of sign up.  With the premium subscription they guarantee satisfaction but make you use telegram to message them which makes it very inconvenient.  For me personally I cannot use telegram, so I emailed them but they took awhile to respond and just told me to refund via Apple which I did before I messaged them and got declined because the subscription is not one that can be refunded via Apple.  So I’m still stuck with the subscription that I’m not satisfied with.

Be absolutely sure you want this before you buy. 

I bought this having seen it has a 14 day money back guarantee. Unfortunately, it wasn’t for me so I cancelled after a few days.

The process starts with you messaging a Telegram address that was last opened a month ago; until it’s read, you can’t ask for a refund!!

**Developer response:** You're right, gating a refund behind a Telegram address nobody's watching is broken, that's on us to fix. Refunds actually go straight through Apple, no need to reach us: support.apple.com/en-us/118223. Email hello@victorai.app if anything stalls and I'll handle it personally, sorry for the runaround.

Unfortunately the app is absolutely confusing. I tried it with mandarin and the ai don’t understand anything and when you are in the middle of the conversation you don’t have translations so you see the mandarin words but you don’t see the translation so you just repeat with out knowing what are you saying. I have tried 30 minutes now and every word I speak out loud is interpret wrong by the KI and I can’t proceed. Really frustrating. I hope that I can get the money back(60 days money back guarantee)

I spend 2-3 years of my life doing a lesson on Duolingo every day… but I never got past A2 and worst of all is I never learned the accent for the words.

With this app however, I have had the opportunity to actually learn and speak Spanish. With the ability to speak to Spanish people in regular conversations because of the multiple scenarios it puts you in to practice.

The best feature about this app in my opinion is being able to put in your own sentences or phrases you want to learn into flash cards with the other ones you have already learned. 

Don’t like the scenarios they put you in? Make up your own and put it into the flashcards and it will review the ones that you forgot.

There is also an AI you can chat with and get some good practice.

Also I love how the flashcards and lessons are scientifically made to boost your learning speed.

If you wanna learn a language rather than surviving a bird choose this app!!

i'm about to start learning with spanish to finding you on my reels you convinced me to lock in, in Spanish so I can talk to my loved ones. I grew up in a Hispanic household but didn't grow up with Spanish my parents can speak it, but never taught me and also because I didn't grow up with my grabdma lol I want to get the chance to speak fluently so I can have communication with my grandma/ just to just know my language. since she only speak Spanish that'll be a big accomplished in life keep up the good work in this app and may everything you wish before it comes true

Victor and his team did great, they are not teaching you senseless words they didn’t just get everything from AI they actually took their time with this app and there’s actually real casual talk like how you would talk with your friends in other languages, I’ve probably learned more from Victor Ai in 2months then years of me learning languages
