App doesn’t work. Machine is broken. This company should be out of business.

If you’re reading this and considering buying from Victoria Arduino consider this your warning. As of now this app has been non-functional for a month. The E1 Prima is dependent on this app to do several functions including adjusting prewetting, steam pressure, group head pressure, auto flushing and the calendar schedule for automatic turn on/off. And no, you can’t use a previous version of the app while they work on updates. So everyone with an E1 Prima has lost half the functionality of our machines because the company is able to disable them whenever they want. Customer service is no help, just sending a generic form response saying they are working on it. Just avoid VA. It will save you a lot of headaches.

I am troubleshooting most of the time. The app does not load, customer service at VA is not good, and it’s extremely frustrating. What is the point of having a machine such as this if you can’t use it correctly? Please make this work! We should not be taking time to complain about this machine ever.

If I can login to the app which is extremely rare then the connection to the E1 prima is unstable. Not many useful features at all within the app and extremely unstable feeling

I got the machine for the app controlled features. Nouva Simonelli blame the app developer and direct me to the app support link. When I click the app support link it redirects me to Simonelli website. So it’s impossible to contact the third party app developer. $6k wasted.

App is clunky even when it works (poor UX) but most of the time it simply won’t connect to the machine. Overall a very frustrating experience, which is a big let down given the price of this piece of equipment. I would advise against purchasing an E1 prima.

The app is pretty good when it’s working. And frankly it needs to be good because the machine is reliant on it. The problem is that it disconnects fairly frequently and only reconnects after turning the machine completely off and back on. When it isn’t connected there is no other way to adjust temperature settings, preinfusion, steam pressure or water doses. This app needs to be more stable!
