Too bad that my fare keeps getting dropped by cabbies making me wait longer from my originally scheduled time. Makes me really want Uber or Lyft to be authorized in this city. Tried it again, same experience. Where is UBER??! ### 1/5 — Needs work *2014-02-03, version 1.2.3* This app can be goos when it works. I have to re download it everytime I want to use it. When I try to open it it just crashes. Once I downlad it again it will work once and once only. In the past its been pretty good for watching the cab come right to your door but on the last use I watch the cab come almost to my house then just stop. When I called the dispacher to see where the cab was she claimed it came and I missed it. No call no nothing to let me know the cab had showed up and since the app failed I missed my cab. Worst was the dispatcher wouldn't send us a new cab and failed to answer when we tried to call back. The app obviously has some glitches to work out. Has potental but for now I'd say its a fail. ### 1/5 — Insta fail *2013-07-30, version 1.2.3* On launch it wants personal info. Um no. There's nothing it needs up front, not ever, unless it wants to spam me or sell my info to spammers. Please, for the next release, explain why you want our info, and don't suggest there's any info you want to store for us in a profile - like credit cards - that we can't provide at purchase and that we'd want stashed in some leaky database anyway. Fail. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — The app frequently shows “no drivers available” *2025-12-12, version 24.11.2* The app frequently shows “no drivers available” even when I can clearly see several in my area. I often have to restart and close the app multiple times before it will successfully book a ride. Additionally, if I adjust the pickup location from the inaccurate GPS position the app chooses, it again claims no cars are available. But if I leave the incorrect location as-is, it finds a driver immediately. This makes the app frustrating and unreliable to use. ### 1/5 — The app glitches quite often *2024-09-04, version 8.13.0* If you live or are visiting Victoria, this app is the worse it constantly glitches and makes it almost impossible to make a booking. Booked a cab through this app. Somebody else hailed it. Couldn't book anymore as trip was already in progress. Called customer service and they say my trip was completed when I never even got the cab. Thank goodness I chose to pay in cab as these guys would have charged me for a ride I never took. Uninstalled it. Don’t recommend. Take yellow cab Victoria instead. ### 1/5 — Do not pre pay! Pay in-car if using! *2022-06-26, version 7.20.0* Do not pre pay! They will charge you if the cab does not arrive. Pre-scheduled a cab from hotel to airport which didn’t arrive nearly on time. Didn’t get the notification the cab was there until I was already at the airport through other mans and they still charged me. No sign of support so I’ll pursue with CC company. ### 1/5 — Time estimates are junk *2022-01-01, version 7.17.0* It said 30 minutes, after waiting for 50 phoned and they said it’d be another 40 to 50. App is intentional design to have an error code when you try to pre pay with Apple Pay or a credit card so you are forced to pay in car. It said the driver was 12 minutes away but he was actually just around the corner and arrived in less than 2 minutes. Surprised at how dirt cheap it was compared to Uber in the states for the same distance that I tipped the guy more than 100% of the bill which brought the total to still much less than Uber. ### 5/5 — Great app *2021-01-26, version 7.3.0* Works like a charm. After that I did the schedule ahead for work. Every morning the driver shows up on time. So quick and easy to use. ### 5/5 — Works great! It worked perfectly well, got linked to a driver a minute after asking for a taxi, driver was 5 min away. Ride went well, driver was nice. App works perfectly fine , if I come back in the area I’ll definitely re download the app. So much easier than waiting on the line for a taxi & not really know what to expect. But recently, even after Reinstall this app just hangs during booking or trying to enter a credit card. I’m now forced to book all my cabs with Uber.
