I have been trying for 3 months to get the system to try and not make me pay for each issue. I have read every article on how to log in if already a print subscriber, and am still not able to view my subscription...am deleting and just sticking with the print version...frustrating! **Developer response:** Unfortunately, we currently do not offer a subscription that provides digital access with a print subscription. We only offer stand-alone print subscriptions or digital subscriptions therefore, having a print subscription does not provide access to the digital editions. My account was charged and before I could open the latest issue there was a message claiming that the issue wasn’t available; thinking it was a glitch I signed out of the app and signed back in to another message telling me the issue I paid for was unavailable. How is this possible with a 1-month subscription? Hoffman Media should be ashamed of their app. I would have given this app a negative number if I could. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — All purchased magazines dated before 2018 have not been restored after waiting over TWO YEARS *2025-06-19* For more than 2 years I have been patiently waiting to have access restored to my many purchased magazines dated before 2018. These were all quietly removed when the app developer was changed (previously it was ZINIO, who had been fantastic to deal with). I have sent multiple emails to support about this, but after initially being told this would take weeks to fix, I am still waiting. As a very long time reader it is so disappointing to see how far things have slipped. The app now also crashes when trying to access magazine view so there is no way to even read in magazine view. I would highly recommend not subscribing through the app. Every month my iPad tells me there is a new subscription but when I go into the library it’s not there. However I can see it on my iPhone (though when I open up the magazine there, I can’t see the pictures and all of the text!!). When I go back to my iPad to press the “subscribe” button on the latest magazine it tells me I’m already subscribed. For the last two months I was able to repeatedly refresh my subscription and eventually after a few days the magazine would appear but it’s not working this month. For two months now I’ve used the contact us feature on the app to send a note to the developer and they consistently ignore me. Whenever a new Special Issue comes out I can’t access it. I have to contact the support team and go through a process to get it on my device. I then have to download again all previous issues to view them.
