### 2/5 — Customer service 5 stars, resources 3 stars, sadly overall rating 2 stars.

*2026-07-04, version v2.3.0*

While customer service has been super and resources have been somewhat helpful and educational, this is NOT an effective application for prevention or even protection — especially for minors. This is an accountability app with intention BUT with too many loop holes and not much efficacy. I wish I had understood better what this was instead of just believing the sales, it’s been nothing but disappointment and frustration. Covenant Eyes must be more transparent about what this is and is not. I’ve wasted several months in this spin when I could have been helping a loved one in better and more supportive ways with resources that are a better fit for needs.

### 4/5 — Rateing

*2026-06-07, version v2.3.0*

I wish y would block other apps too

### 2/5 — Unreliable

*2026-05-30, version v2.3.0*

The software will skip hours of time in the activity feed just randomly. We’ve tested it by viewing certain content on the device and on multiple occasions it just won’t show up. Hours- just mysteriously lost. I’m not sure if it’s helping or actually making things worse.

### 3/5 — VPN is buggy

*2026-05-13, version 2.2.1*

I appreciate Covenant Eyes/Victory and what they’re doing for those of us that struggle, but the VPN is buggy and causes errors that messes with overall internet and app activity/functionality. I’ve had to uninstall it and reinstall it several times to try and get it working again. Dev team, please take a look at the VPN issues on iPhones. Thank you!

### 3/5 — VPN kicks off

*2026-04-28, version 2.2.1*

The VPN kicks off after a phone update and the VPN won’t stay connected until
I uninstall and reinstall which covenant eyes flags as potential explicit activity because of that. Please fix this issue!

### 4/5 — Pls add streaks

*2026-04-13, version 2.2.1*

I think adding streaks would be an amazing idea, your accountability partner could see your resets and ask about them, just because it blocks SOME services doesn’t mean there’s not any ways to get out of them or get around them

### 3/5 — Struggling to open app

*2026-03-02, version 2.2.1*

I’m not sure why but the app isn’t opening. Is it possible to change it from blurry photos to more clear photos?

### 4/5 — Needs Better Messaging

*2026-02-27, version 2.2.1*

I wish I could send pictures and media over the chat feature. Right now I just use Telegram to do that while staying confidential, which is annoying to use two apps. Otherwise love the community features, I use it with my small group of brothers in Christ.

### 3/5 — Good, but needs to be more streamlined when accessing the app from motivations

*2026-02-14, version 2.2.0*

I’m an accountability partner for my kids. I’ll get a notification that someone may have viewed inappropriate material. Clicking the notification does not take me to the report of concern. Instead it takes me to a page where I choose if I want to login with my password or Face ID (most apps rightly assume Face ID and do the login automatically ). I then click Activity tab. Then I click the account I want to look at. Then I click view Activity Feed. Then I click Highlighted or explicit activity only. That’s a lot of clicks to view what the notification was telling me about. And let’s face it - getting the notification is somewhat stressful so it would be nice to streamline that process.

### 5/5 — Get this asap

*2026-02-13*

Read title

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review!

### 2/5 — Not 100%

*2025-12-26, version 2.1.0*

This App has been helpful and damaging to my relationship with my wife. It certainly has helped me in my recovery, as I haven’t accessed any pornography in well over a year. However, it “throws false positives” with confusing flags that indicate you might have tried to access a porn site. Not cool; especially when your wife is undergoing betrayal trauma and doesn’t believe a word you say, and doesn’t believe you when you deny attempting to look at pornography.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2025-12-24, version 2.1.0*

This app has been a game changer in my porn addiction recovery! It keeps you accountable, makes you think about and talk about how you are feeling. There is an awsome community support system built In. The only thing I noticed is it doesn’t seem to monitor app usage. For example when I was watching paramount+ a scene came up in a movie with a woman in lingerie, the victory system did not flag that. I hope this information can help to improve the security of the victory app. This was the only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It does not let you cancel your membership

*2026-08-29, version v2.4.1*

I am looking to cancel my membership but there is no button and instead you have to email the company and wait for a response which means I will probably have to pay more while I wait since it’s Friday. Overall I have not been satisfied with the product and if there is a developer reading this I would like to kindly ask for my money back and if this is done I will consider changing my review

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-06-30, version v2.3.0*

This app forces you to use a vpn, which means, none of your apps are going to run correctly, from instagram, youtube, ive heard phone calls become a problem aswell. Slows your phone down overall aswell. Theres so many better things out their for addiction, this app is not it.

### 1/5 — Ever accountable is better

*2026-06-17, version v2.3.0*

Victory/Covenant Eyes doesn't cover well. Ever Accountable is a lot better

### 1/5 — Horrible new UI

*2026-05-28, version v2.3.0*

I loved this app, but the new updated UI is so trash. Please make an option to revert back to original UI. I hate the orange… makes it feel like a cheap online store.

### 1/5 — Limited features on iOS

*2026-05-10, version 2.2.1*

Great concept. Unfortunately the screenshot/screen activity monitoring feature does not work in on an iPhone which basically renders the main function of the app useless. This is frustrating considering the very high price point.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2026-04-17, version 2.2.1*

The app has become completely unusable. It won’t even connect with the shield anymore and I can’t do anything on it. For some reason the devs said “hey let’s horribly downgrade this app and make it unusable”

### 1/5 — Victory app.

*2026-03-31, version 2.2.1*

I downloaded this app because I’ve been struggling with porn since I was 12 years old. I have the free version. I sent an invite to my friend to be my accountability partner, but they want him to pay to be my accountability partner. Are you kidding me? Are you really trying to help people or are you only in it to make money?

### 1/5 — Wish I could use.

*2026-01-20, version 2.1.0*

I don’t make much money. So paying out $200 for an app is just not possible for me. It’s really sad and unfortunate.

### 1/5 — Primary Function Does Not Work

*2025-12-17, version 2.1.0*

It always displays a green check mark and claims there is no concerning activity even when the activity history has lots of recent flagged and explicit activity on the list. What a total failure of the purpose for this app! It misleadingly indicates a clean record ALL THE TIME NO MATTER WHAT. So annoying. I refer people to Accountable2You instead.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2025-12-15, version 2.1.0*

If you aren’t religious this isn’t for you, everything is an idiotic bible verse and you can’t make any comments about how you actually feel. Every comment is pre written

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2026-08-30, version v2.4.1*

Oh praise God, there are good people out there, and they are you and me! We were created by God, and God only makes good things! So even if you have a slip in judgement. Never give up hope for we are inherently good because the Lord created us. However, we have become a fallen nature due to Adam and Eve in the garden; due to this we have an inclination to sin so stay strong my brothers and sisters in Christ, God Bless you all!!

### 5/5 — This will totally fix your problem! quickly and easily!

*2026-08-14, version v2.4.1*

If anything you need to worry more about your dopamine withdrawal symptoms than a relapse!! Do not listen to any of these other reviews. They’re wrong. This app works great. I will add that the best accountability partner to have with this App. Is either your parents. Or your spouse. Or whoever would cause the most embarrassment or dire consequence. Nobody else. If that’s too embarrassing or risky that’s kind of the point!! in that case the more the better! At the end of the day. This app doesn’t just help you or assist you. It makes it really easy to quit. even if you’re a long-term (p word) user! If utilizing the right partner as listed above.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-08-04, version v2.4.1*

It’s an app where you can find Christ- centered people who truly love Jesus and help each other in a positive and meaningful manner. Only problem I have is it doesn’t alert your ally if you download a suspicious app

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-07-17, version v2.4.0*

Working good for me and my buddy

### 5/5 — Win and Win

*2026-07-14, version v2.3.0*

Wonderful app to help a person be victorious in their life over adult content

### 5/5 — A great stepping stone

*2026-07-13, version v2.3.0*

It won’t fix you issue but it is certainly helpful. A great place to run when the triggers are there.

### 5/5 — Victory

*2026-07-07, version v2.3.0*

Helped so much in my journey!

### 5/5 — Best decision I’ve made!

*2026-06-03, version v2.3.0*

Living free from temptation is impossible but with Victory you can make it further than you thought possible. You can prove to yourself that you do have self control and choice in your actions!! It is renewing!!

### 5/5 — This won’t fix your problem

*2026-03-12, version 2.2.1*

The app won’t fix your problem. But it certainly is a high value high quality tool to aid you in your journey.
Relationships are a crucial pairing to this app. Relationship with God first. And development of that relationship is utmost importance.
Relationship with spouse has been a saving grace for me but I understand that is not a component many have.
Relationships with others who have been in this journey is critical.
When these elements are in place with a healthy dose of self discipline that creates healthy boundaries, this app will be a great tool for unleashing the talons of porn.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-03-02, version 2.2.1*

This is great
