### 3/5 — Recipes macros

*2026-08-06, version 4.91.0*

Great service. Wish you could build recipes and calculate per serving macros

### 4/5 — Not Everything Connects

*2026-08-05, version 4.91.0*

I can no longer connect my Apple Watch to this app.

### 3/5 — Keeps freezing

*2026-07-03, version 4.90.0*

I don’t know why it keeps freezing. Great potential but it’s frustrating to use. Perhaps a bug fix?

### 1/5 — worst service ever

*2026-06-20, version 4.90.0*

The worst service I’ve ever had in my entire life, nonprofessional medical associates not easy to work with very hard to navigate system and process overall horrible horrible service

### 1/5 — Worst experience ever since I have had health care coverage

*2026-06-19, version 4.90.0*

The absolute worst i have ever experienced in a health management company. They only care about costs not about patient care or needs being met. No follow ups continued run around. They simply do not care what’s best for the patient! Never recommending this company to ANYONE!

### 1/5 — You such

*2026-06-18, version 4.90.0*

Not enough people employed!!!

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-06-18, version 4.90.0*

It is awful that you have attached yourself as a requirement to insurance plans to make money off glp1s. This is so unnecessary and the format of having webinars during working hours is extremely inconvenient and unacceptable. This is a waste of time and not necessary. You are impeding on patient’s ability to have resources just to make a dollar and piggy back off a pharmaceutical drug. Shame on you. This is a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!

### 4/5 — Format

*2026-06-17, version 4.90.0*

This app would be much better if the layout was customizable. I hate scrolling down to the bottom to log food and other stuff.

### 1/5 — First provider ghosted me then sent a text she quit!

*2026-06-16, version 4.90.0*

I absolutely do not like this app. It’s another layer of decay in our health care system.
They don’t want you to see your primary care physician that knows you.
I did try to start with someone, because I’m not given a choice if I want help .
They were a no show. No responses to my several texts - it was beyond aggravating- definitely not in tune with “mindfulness, caring and in touch”…and then a text that they were quitting.
Good riddance.
Then a phone call to “ check in”
I called back and it takes about 10 minutes to get through their series of “ press one for this , two for that 690 for something else… sorry, sorry we didn’t get that , let’s repeat this until you throw your phone in the trash….”
The whole thing feels phony.
Needless to say I hung up before actually reaching someone.

### 1/5 — Worst Medical Care Possible

*2026-06-15, version 4.90.0*

Vida should honestly be ashamed of itself. Completely unethical how they deny medication based on 20
minutes. They are a perfect example of the failure and corruption of the American health insurance industry. Oh and if you tell your assigned RN that they have disrupted your progress through stopping your medication they’ll just drop you and leave you with nothing. Shame on you Vida.

### 1/5 — Food Logging

*2026-06-06, version 4.90.0*

This is the worst app to log food. Why don’t you find a way to link it to my fitness pal to make things easier. Also, the food logging is inaccurate with calories, fiber, protein etc

### 1/5 — Ok until it was harmful

*2026-06-01, version 4.90.0*

I had trouble getting appointments and responses to chats. Then I got some care, enough to get to trade to a large dose of medication but not given enough pills to last until the next appointment. And then the chat was unresponsive again. Working with my primary care doctor to manage adverse effects of suddenly stopping the medication due to lack of support from Vida provider. Do not recommend. But I have to say: the nutritionist was very nice.

### 1/5 — Terrible service

*2026-05-29, version 4.90.0*

Terrible idea

### 3/5 — Food logging

*2026-05-28, version 4.90.0*

The nutritional facts are incorrect. If you are someone watching your sodium intake you will get depress, most of the time it’s on the high side as well as the protein. Don’t trust it.

### 3/5 — Decent app, but could use a couple of upgrades.

*2026-05-27, version 4.90.0*

I like the Vida app, but I wish it tracked my steps, like MyFitnessPal. Instead it wants to know how many minutes I walked, which I’ve never worried about. I walk 4-5 miles every day, but I do it over the course of the day, not in one session. Also, the food diary is good, but not as good as MyFitnessPal.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unbearable

*2026-08-12, version 4.91.0*

I’ve had more than 5 “providers” since Jan 1st - really sick of this.

### 1/5 — One of the worst apps I’ve ever had to use

*2026-08-05, version 4.91.0*

AI does most communication, often pretending to be the person I attempted to contact. Unlike other AI programs I use, this one doesn’t learn. I could go on endlessly, but in general this app is extremely frustrating to work with. The program overall has benefits, but the question was to rate the app and I would give it zero stars if I could.

### 1/5 — So far, not so good..

*2026-08-05, version 4.91.0*

I downloaded this app and thought I’d give it a try for a little more time before deleting it. The coach I had kept telling me, you can switch coaches (but I never even asked). Then he and the sports nutritionist disappear from my “team” messages. So far, not what I was hoping for. Also, on other apps the people on your “health care team” are more proactive and interested in helping. Here I’ve only experienced cancellations and basic info. Also, not much support with getting the right medical equipment. Hoping that this improves before I delete it.

### 1/5 — UHC program. Of course you’ll be denied.

*2026-08-04, version 4.91.0*

I started this program because UHC said I needed to do it in order to get a GLP-1 prescribed to me. When I got to that point and was prescribed a GLP-1 UHC denied covering it. The out of pocket expense is way too much. Unless you can get UHC to cover My medication it is a no go.

### 1/5 — Game

*2026-07-31, version 4.91.0*

This app is the most unhelpful thing I’ve ever had to do. It’s a stupid game insurance companies make you play to try to not pay for your medicine. None of the information is helpful. It’s like basic stuff that any person with common sense know the classes and webinars are a joke as are the coaches do not recommend

### 1/5 — Insurance Shouldn’t Override My Doctors Treatment Plan

*2026-07-31, version 4.91.0*

My physician, not my insurance company, should be directing my medical care.

UnitedHealthcare now requires me to participate in weekly Vida Health check-ins in order to continue covering a medication my physician has prescribed and is already managing.

I am not refusing treatment or support. I already have a treating physician, follow a medical plan, exercise regularly, and am actively engaged in improving my health. Requiring weekly coaching sessions and check ins as a condition of coverage is an unnecessary administrative burden that overrides the physician-patient relationship.

The scheduling also fails to accommodate many working professionals, with limited group session availability Monday through Thursday.

Programs like Vida should be offered as an optional resource, not a mandatory requirement to access physician-prescribed treatment.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-07-30, version 4.91.0*

If you’re forced to go through them because of your insurance, do yourself a favor: save yourself the time and aggravation and just pay out of pocket. That’s what you’ll end up doing anyway. That’s the only reason they exist. It’s cheaper for insurance to pay them than it is for them to cover your medication.

### 1/5 — Waste of time and money

*2026-07-13, version 4.90.0*

There are so many things annoying about this company/app—it was just as frustrating back when they were Omada. Some are small while some are more annoying, but overall it’s just a waste of my time.
1. The app happily pulls data from my phone but refuses to share anything back to Apple Health. So now I have a scale that only talks to the Vida app. Very useful.
2. I’ve been seeing my GP regularly since 2017 and already got my GLP-1 through her. Now, thanks to insurance, I have to go through this app too—adding an entirely unnecessary hoop. Why am I paying for my doctor and consulting a random nurse here just to get the same prescription?
3. Messaging is a mess. Every reply comes from a different person, usually with a canned response. It took 13 different people to handle a simple refill.
4. I’ve been on this medication for years, yet every week I’m asked the same side-effect questions. It’s redundant, especially since I already check in with my doctor every few months.
Overall, the whole experience feels repetitive, disconnected, and unnecessarily complicated.

### 1/5 — Not a good app

*2026-07-13, version 4.90.0*

If you have the choice to get this program, don’t choose it. I have been trying to schedule an appointment for 2 months because my insurance needed a new authorization but they haven’t scheduled me. I am already on medication and I ran out and have been unable to get it refilled until I meet with them. I have been trying and trying to schedule this but they are so unhelpful and automated that this has gotten buried. I have been out of my medication for over 3 weeks and have started having major side effects since then. Don’t choose them

### 1/5 — Absolute Garbage

*2026-06-21, version 4.90.0*

Be prepared to jump through 20 hoops to get anywhere. These people don’t want to help they want to track ALL of your life. I can do this on my own. It’s a scam stay away

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Super

*2026-08-05, version 4.91.0*

Best weight management app ever.

### 5/5 — Change My Life

*2026-08-04, version 4.91.0*

At first, I was resistant because I already had a routine that was working for me, and I had already lost about 30 pounds. Then Vida became part of my journey, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to change. But I’m glad I gave it a chance. The exercise programs, guided meditations, helpful health information, Zoom sessions, and the ability to ask questions have all been very beneficial. As I became more involved, I realized how much it has helped me stay organized, informed, and encouraged throughout my health journey.

### 5/5 — Great info

*2026-08-04, version 4.91.0*

Tons of great information in the app. The information is spot on if you’re wanting to start a new lifestyle. Navigating through the app is rather easy and logging stuff is pretty easy as well.

### 5/5 — First time

*2026-06-12, version 4.90.0*

This is my first time using a weight loss program and I have to say I love this app. I love all the tools and the accountability it provides and my health coach Stephani is amazing! So encouraging and positive!

### 5/5 — Review

*2026-05-29, version 4.90.0*

I enjoy the app, but the whole process of joining has been challenging to a non savy tech person.

### 5/5 — Agradecida

*2026-05-11, version 4.89.0*

Es una de las mejores plataformas que ha podido llegar a mi vida, la atención personalizada y la forma tan sutil como van transformando tus hábitos es mágica 🌹

### 5/5 — Awareness

*2026-05-09, version 4.89.0*

Without the program I would not have known that I needed to control my blood pressure better with changes in my lifestyle and when I take my meds. Thank you ❤️
