Later in the afternoon, he is blabbing on and on about how his neighbor friend watched it and said there was a bunch of language in it (language to a little kid, mind you LOL) and my son argued with him, “nuh uh! There wasn’t anything bad in it at all!” He didn’t even know he missed a thing. To me and him the movie was just awesome and clean, but his buddy remembered all the “bad stuff” from the movie. That’s it. That’s what we avoid when we use VidAngel. Thank you for doing this so people like us can enjoy some clean entertainment without the cloud of nonsense filling our minds. ### 5/5 — OUTSTANDING *2026-08-16* My absolute go-to! Unfortunately, the VidAngel App cannot access your personal Apple TV Video Library, it can only filter movies through the Apple TV Streaming Service. Did not see this shortcoming mentioned in any details about VidAngel until I opened an account. I do not want to re-buy my movies… Apple TV and VidAngel should have a marker for videos you already have in your Apple TV library. But how do you filter something when you have movies on here that are LGBTQ, (heartstopper) you take time to put these kind of movies on here and not good movies. So disappointed with this app. I will tell everyone I know do not get this app. It is not Family orient. If I could give it a zero, I would. **Developer response:** I'm so sorry to hear we don't have what you are looking for. We do have some restrictions on what we are able to create filters for. However, we do also have a title request tool on our website and mobile apps that you can use to see if we can filter the movies you are looking for. Now I can’t even use it on Apple TV s unless it’s a prime video or something… Feels like integration support for various streaming services is non existent. They’ve completed the shows The Good Fight and Elsbeth which were both spin offs that are readily available on VidAngel with both shows being fully available with all episodes. But for The Good Wife there are only two more seasons that we need to complete the series and VidAngel is taking an extremely slow time completing this series. My Wife and I started the series 2 years ago and it’s as if they are now adding a season per year now which is weird considering the series is already completed and available on Paramount Plus. I’ve requested for VidAngel to complete the series but every time I open the app they upload every other show and movie except this series.🤷‍♂️ ### 1/5 — Need to fix how movies are chosen *2026-03-22, version 6.8.35* Liked it at first but they decide to use requests to see if they can filter a movie instead of just doing it. We asked for a movie that was a top seller on Amazon for months and performed well in the movies and still nothing. They added every movies behind and after it in top sellers. Doesn’t make sense to me. They should not rely on customers votes just to add movies. Also need an app on Samsung TVs. Tried to login to website to manage linked services, and it didn’t recognize my subscription. I just cancelled my subscription immediately. I’d rather watch the trashy shows than jump through the amount of hoops just to not be able to sign in.
