However … the app seems to validate your free/app status every time (you open it or un-dormant it) and if you are offline (in flight etc) you get this “…. Hey, buy the paid adfree version!…” box. Sometimes it goes away after few seconds, sometimes it doesn’t. So if you use the paid version, you don’t get a better new pro- app, they simply check online what status you have and modify the UI. Clearly works for them but not really good for customers.
