I just installed the app on a new device but there’s no way for me to login so that I can use the pro features that I’ve paid for. **Developer response:** I apologize for the delayed response. Using this app and Dunder Poll Camera’s gear (Australia) it’s now possible to get wifi video from a GoPro operating underwater. Providing swimmers in a practice session with video feedback on perhaps an eight second delay is a very effective and efficient way to build world class technique. The free version needs an internet connection to work smoothly. ### 1/5 — Schade, wieder einmal eine gute App, die dem Kommerz zum Opfer fällt *2023-12-08* Bisher war VideoDelay ein super nützliches Tool für den Sportunterricht: Man stellte ein iPad auf und die Schüler konnten ihre eigene Übungsausführung mit Verzögerung darauf ansehen. Auch für die Benotung war es eine Hilfe, wenn man die Möglichkeit hatte, durch die verzögerte Darstellung noch den Blick auf ein weiteres Kriterium zu richten. Nach dem neuesten Update erscheint nun jeweils ca. nach einer Minute Zeitverzögerungsvideo eine Meldung, dass man ein Premium-Feature kostenlos nutzen würde und man eine Internetverbindung bräuchte, um ein Werbevideo anzusehen. Somit wurde mir zunächst offline in der Sporthalle die Notengebung verhagelt, weil ich die App so nicht nutzen konnte (ich kann nicht jede Minute alles wieder neu einstellen, die Info-Nachricht wegklicken etc.)! Nun, wieder im Internet, stelle ich fest, dass es gar kein Werbevideo gibt, das man notfalls einmal ansehen könnte. Nein, man soll gleich ein monatliches Abo für knapp 7 Euro abschließen. Dafür, dass ich die App etwa 4-5x im Schuljahr benötige, leider kein realistischer Preis. Und durch die ständigen Unterbrechungen ist die App im Free-Modus nun leider unbrauchbar geworden. Jetzt ist sie unbrauchbar, da man immer nach ca. einer Minute die Verzögerung neu einstellen muss. Das liegt daran, dass dann angeblich ein Werbevideo abgespielt wird, das aber im WLAN einer Schule natürlich geblockt wird, weshalb man komplett neu starten muss. Then tried for an hour to connect to my DJI Mini 5 Pro. What worked a few weeks ago, was now taken out with one of the last updates: No RTMP Streaming. That’s a punch in the face when you have 20 athletes relying on the service you’ve offered. So right now my subscription doesn’t fulfill my expectations. And yes, I’ve had high expectations bc it looked like my #1 app. But right now I don’t know what to do with it. UDATE: Quick response on feedback. You can literally do anything in this app and it’s the first app I know with a 2k resolution. My specific use case, I use the zoom bar, delay, export videos everyday and stop to draw and analyze specific moves.
