### 3/5 — NOT COMPLETE

*2019-09-14, version 6.0.7*

Missing several games that they have rated a long time ago but still good other than that.

### 3/5 — Somewhat helpful

*2017-03-02, version 5.0.1*

I would like to better understand the ESRBs definition of infrequent when used to describe the reasons for the ratings given.

### 4/5 — Finally updated

*2015-12-07, version 5.0.0*

It's been almost 2 full years since they updated this app and I was beginning to think they just ditched it. The app has been outdated for years now but finally it looks modernized. New IOS 9 keyboard instead of the old IOS 6 keyboard. The reason why it doesn't have a five star is because some games don't show up on here. Overall the app is great.

### 3/5 — Fix please!

*2015-10-19, version 4.0.3*

Doesn't let me see the actual ratings. Touching them is unresponsive. Please fix!

### 5/5 — Awesome when it does work!

*2015-10-09, version 4.0.3*

This app is great! Unfortunately it needs an iOS 9 update, because now it won't let me click the actual games I've search to see why they're rated. It doesn't hate games! GTA, Black ops, etc... Are NOT kid appropriate games. The app just states what parents should know.

### 4/5 — Can't click any thing except search bar and menu buttons.

*2015-09-30, version 4.0.3*

I can't click on any of the games or categories (i.e. Ratings, content, etc.) to refine my search. I use the website so the app is great in terms of what it's meant to do, but not if you can't use the app! Please fix this!

### 4/5 — Great App. Bad Haters.

*2015-09-22, version 4.0.3*

I've seen a trend in the comments here: everyone is usually on one of two sides: those for the app, and those against it. Both sides have valid arguments and opinions, which I respect, but one doesn't exactly have true facts: those against it. To the guy that said Borderlands 2 has no flamethrowers, consider those Malwan guns that set people on fire. They throw bullets that drown your enemies in flames. Basically a flamethrower. As for wether or not I personally like the app, I do. I like it because it lets me know what's in the games I'm buying. I for one was appalled by the Join Citra ending in Far Cry 3, where you do the nasty with her then she stabs you. I like this app because it helps me avoid more of those moments. Yes, I am a gamer, yes I realize this app will probably make parents take kid's games away, ones that they love, but think about this from the parents' perspective: Would you want your 3-year old son who imitates everything they see playing a game where you rape people? No? I thought so.

I am taking a star however. The UI is out of date and the app doesn't work as intended.

### 4/5 — Needs iOS 9 support

*2015-09-17, version 4.0.3*

Title says it all

### 1/5 — Fake

*2014-10-15, version 4.0.3*

This thing does not tell you the truth when I searched the walking dead and it said to smoke cigarettes that never happened and in borderlands2 you never get flame throwers

### 5/5 — Do Not Be Decieved!!!!!!

*2014-09-05*

Your Children will lie to you about the games they are playing! Im 19, and I used to do it personally myself. This app is great to let you know exactly what you are potentially exposing yourself and your children to as well. I recently purchased Grand Theft Auto 5, and I have learned it is an inappropriate game after 10 minutes of gameplay. I later checked the internet to see what others were saying, and parents were saying it is a good game that teaches realistic aspects of life. I became flustered when one of the reviews from a child's mother stating that she bought the game for her 12 year old son, she was convinced that any nudity and violence is avoidable throughout the game. There is one mission where you have to brutally torture a person, you are in full control and get to chose what to torture the man with. There is another mission where you have to close a series of "adult" pop-ups on a persons computer. I believe that there should be more pressure on parents to review this app or website from this company. KNOW WHAT YOU EXPOSE YOURSELF AND YOUR CHILDREN TO! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ESRB!!! 10 out of 5 stars if possible!!

### 1/5 — This app won't work!

*2017-06-14, version 5.0.1*

I can't search anything on it!

### 1/5 — Cannot get it to work

*2015-11-17, version 4.0.3*

A salesperson at a game store recommended this app because he uses it. I downloaded it. I could search a game , but when I select a platform, there is no response. He thought it was my phone, but when he tried it on his phone, it didn't work either. Oh well. Delete.

### 1/5 — Please fix this app

*2015-11-17, version 4.0.3*

You can search titles but you can't pull up the comments or the rating. Basically worthless.

### 1/5 — Needs Fixing

*2015-11-15, version 4.0.3*

I'm on iOS 9.1, and the old looking layout of this doesn't bother me, it's the functionality. Anytime you search ANYTHING or try to filter results, it will show your search results like any other app, but it's unresponsive when I try to actually look at a games rating, which is, ya know, the purpose of this app. It used to be good, it just needs to fixed as it's basically useless. 1 star till then.

### 1/5 — Completely broken

*2015-11-09, version 4.0.3*

Once you search, you can't tap the names of any the results and see the description. Nor can you tap any of the advanced search filter buttons.

### 1/5 — App a joke???

*2015-11-09, version 4.0.3*

Is this a joke?? I mean the app literally doesn't work. You can't change anything and when you search for a game you can't click on it to get the rating which is the sole purpose of this game. Seriously???

### 1/5 — The search option on this app does NOT work.

*2015-11-07, version 4.0.3*

I can understand making an app like this so that parents will know what to expect what is in the game that they and their children will be exposed to. (Though I've always believed that parents should always take a closer look into games themselves because people can go too far or not far enough on rating anything, including the ESRB. If you don't believe me, I've got a collection of games where they either over looked or went overboard when rating them. I could write a book series about it!) The problem with this app is that it's search option only pulls up the game's title but not what it's rated. Also you can't change the search criteria, especially if you want to check it on a certain system. Until this problem is fixed my rating will stay at 1 star. I have IOS 9.1, which should help with narrowing down if it's the operating system/ app compatibility.

### 1/5 — Plz fix

*2015-11-01, version 4.0.3*

Can't click plz fix

### 1/5 — Totally broken.

*2015-10-29, version 4.0.3*

It would need an update, I'm sure it was a nice app two years ago. Can't even click properly to select options, it just doesn't work.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work in iOS9

*2015-10-04, version 4.0.3*

Website forces you to install the app, not given the option to search using Safari. App lets you search a title but filtering doesn't respond to tapping a platform selection. And if your search gets multiple results tapping to open one is also ignored. So you get a list containing your searched title that you cannot view. Both on iPad Air2 and iPhone6.

### 5/5 — Clean, Fast, Educational

*2017-05-11, version 5.0.1*

This app lets me find out the rating and content of any video game. But it also helps me understand what ESRB does and what the ratings actually mean.
