You guys are lucky im in a good mood otherwise this review would be a lot longer ### 4/5 — Chock full of adverts *2013-03-20, version 1.1.1* Would be a great game, but everytime you complete a question you have an advert rammed in your face ### 3/5 — Games *2013-02-16, version 1.0.1* Sometime like wii sports, it shows a picture of wii tennis so I never got it right. Make sure to make right when you get it right like Mario, I wrote Mario but it had to be super Mario bros and I think you should fix it. Street fighter was wrong as well even though I spelled it right. I think this quiz has potential but plz do some fixing. It's a lot like Alegrium's "IconPopQuiz" but with video games. A lot of the interface is just a rip-off of Alegrium's. Sometimes you can just name the series such as "Zelda" but other times you're supposed to name the specific version. For Ocarina of Time "Zelda" doesn't work. When I put in "Ocarina of Time" it says it close but doesn't count. I've tried several variations but nothing works. Games like this bug me because I know what it is but they're AI isn't intelligent enough to accept my answer. This game needs A LOT of work. It would be nice if there were categories. It's boring to name the classics. I prefer picking out modern titles. Other than that, they really need to come up with their own graphical interface instead of ripping off someone else's. ### 2/5 — Not correct titles *2014-04-18* So for the most part it's ok but some of the game titles are incorrect and that makes you score go down because it tells you that you have the wrong answer when really the app is wrong a couple I found just now are Skate or die (when I click on hint it gives me a title that is not the correct one) and Mario bros (the one for the NES is not called super Mario Bros) ### 3/5 — Download if you dare *2014-11-24* This is a good app but there are a few things bad with it for example the typing is bad often messing you up so you get less points then what you would have gotten and this app crashed quite a bit for me but besides that it's a good app not great but good ### 3/5 — Strange difficulty curves *2014-08-17, version 1.5.1* Yeah...that^ ### 3/5 — Great fun but... *2013-10-14, version 1.2.4* ...broke when I unlocked Level 8 :( ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Good app *2019-10-25* I like the game style looks cool great job fantastic game so much ratings everyone likes this game or some but still bye ### 5/5 — Challenging quiz *2013-12-15, version 1.4* Just the kind of trivia/quiz app I've been looking for, with quite a lot of levels and challenge for someone not versed in the ways of video games. Definitely worth downloading. ### 5/5 — For Expert Gamers Only *2013-05-11* It starts off fairly simple but wow it gets crazy obscure in the last levels. I'm taking Japanese Mahjong, Limited Release, games probably no one ever heard of obscure. The interface is great and the games have a nice variance of current gen, retro and iOS. However, it puts a lot of sequels that you have to guess at such as the street fighter series and their random post number names ### 4/5 — Great app but ads are excessive *2018-03-25, version 1.6* This is a great app to prove you're an old school gamer lol, I wish it would have more varied ads though as the stuff they push, I've either got or don't want. A skip option for ads already seen would be welcome. Other than that the game is great! Edit:one problem is certain games released in Great Britain have different names, it would be helpful to add the alternate title. E.g. Ghosts 'n Goblins ### 4/5 — Great but two requests *2014-08-27* I absolutely love this quiz game and the entire series you've made, so first and foremost fantastic job to all involved. Second, I have two requests: 1) There needs to be an option to reset your game if you get stuck and want to try to restrategize from the beginning. 2) you should be able to see the names of the games you've guessed right. I can't count how many times I got a game right, forgot the name a day later when I wanted to research it, and couldn't see it in the app. Very frustrating!
