It’ll be so much better if we could watch videos from the calendar and if we could delete videos after merging them. Would be so perfect.

Not very developed, seems like a very small app with not much to do on it. It’s a great idea, wish I could have multiple videos per day maybe. Also dates are wrong on the app which throws you off

Hey! I loved this app at the beginning, I’ve been using it since July 2026 and been loving it because I find it easier to talk into the camera over writing. In August (now), on the 4th I recorded a very sentimental video and saved it in the app, while ‘processing the data’, the app closed itself and lost the video. That’s fine, I reported the bug and moved on. On the 5th I tried redoing the video, because I really wanted my words documented, so I redid the video and stopped recording, the app started saving and ‘processing data’ then it closed itself again!!! Both of my videos are now lost. At the current moment, as soon as I tried to recorded and then press stop, nothing saves. I’m not sure what’s happened here, I reported the bug twice and nothing yet. My recommendation is to record your video on your phone first, then upload it, because it’s sad to lose dear videos. Deleting the app now, what’s the point.

Just recorded a very heartfelt video just for the app to not save it. Terrible design

This app was terrible. 
1. Could only record one vide per day. I could've lived with this if not for the next issue...
2. Could not re-watch the videos!?!? What good is a DIARY if you can't access the material afterward!?!? It was essentially a picture of the video!

All in all, this was not a user friendly app and doesn't function as advertised. I recommend a different one.

It’s a really basic app, there’s nothing fancy. and I love it!! but i’m really frustrated because the perspective of the video is not the same orientation as I hold my phone. not sure if this is an app feature, or if this is something that i can change, but i would like it to change.

I have recorded several upload videos and once I save them there is no way to go back a view the videos or save them to your phone. It either says delete, or re-record or upload from camera roll. 
I see no point in a video diary if you can’t go back to watch it. 
There’s no update to fix this bug. Disappointed!

I love the apps design and how you’re able to upload videos for the day and see and keep track of it but most of the time you record, you pressed OK and it doesn’t save the video. Then sometimes going back to it you can’t hear the audio, I record multiple times and it still doesn’t upload.

These have now been fixed. In some cases the app was showing a processing animation even though the video had actually saved correctly in the background.

Everything should now work as expected, including audio.

was unimpressed with the fact that i couldn’t watch the videos back however its on me for not paying attention to the way they advertise this app, i do love the feature that allows you to turn your year into a movie and yiu can select the end and start date so if you want to watch the videos you’ve created you can that way love this app so much but hate that i can’t record more per day as this is not the kind of video diary i was wanting

The dates are wrong. It’s the 15th of February 25 and a Saturday but the 15th on the app is a Sunday. It’s annoying me

The cool part is that you can record as many videos as you want per day. Unfortunately you can’t access to the videos very easily. You need to do few steps and it is not very convenient.

I love this app so much. It has helped my mental health so so much to see myself talk about how my days went and learn from my past days. The app is simple but does its job and the free version is totally functional. I hope the developer keeps it up!!!!!! This app is so personally important to me now

I’m a huge fan of journaling and talking, so this is the perfect app for me, I ran into some issues with it towards the beginning, reported the bug and the developer was nice enough to respond and help me fix the issue. Really shows the amount of care and love that goes into this app. Definitely recommend if you’re a yapper and loves to journal.

**Developer response:** This is fixed. Version 2.23 resolves the crash, and the app now handles long recordings properly to update, open the App Store, search VideoDiary, and tap Update. You can confirm it worked in the app's Settings: at the bottom, it should read 2.23 (1).

Thank you again for reporting it; your report is what made the fix possible, and it will help other users too.

On your own recordings: once you're updated, open the app and check whether yesterday's and today's videos appear. If they do, they were partially saved and should be recoverable.

I also replied to your email, but it bounced back; your mailbox appears to be full. If you can free up some space and write to me at developer.riccardo.mobile@gmail.com, I'll resend it right away; there's more I'd like to share with you there. Either way, please let me know how it goes; I want to make this right.

Video diary has helped me talk about my problems or being able to say anything without feeling judged or without sharing it to other people. I’m not one to talk about feelings but this app helps me go through my day. It’s the only streak I follow through with. It feels nice to “talk to someone” like that. Highly recommend so far

If you’ve ever wanted to record your thoughts or capture moments throughout the day, this is the perfect app. It keeps everything organized and makes creating montages super easy.

I rly like how easy to use this app is and I rly like that u dont lose out on a whole bunch if you dont pay. Hwv, I dont like that for once u finish the video u cant add more, change ur statement, or change the mood u selected / failed to select in the thing.

I actually really like this app bc I’ve always wanted to write a diary but I don’t like actually doing it bc my wrist hurts after a while of writing it and I’m kinda better talking aloud than jotting thoughts down. So I started looking for an app that does that stuff and I found this and it’s js really simple and easy to use. so yeah nice app simple easy and I luv it being part of my nightly routine where I js talk about my day.

I started using this app since the beginning of this year and safe to say, I approve of this app. The layout and everything else (font) in this app is cute. You are able to film or add your video from camera roll for however long you like (well I’m assuming, idk but I’ve filmed like 5+ min vids before). There is also space under your vid for you to type out anything you want AND there’s this cute feature where you can choose your mood for that day and it organizes like a mood board of that week. The only thing I wish would happen would be to allow us to add photos too, not just vids because it requires videos only, because sometimes I never took any video that day but I might want to add a picture in case I missed that day and just wanted to fill in that missing day (if that makes sense). But other than that, this is great! Great job!!
