## What is Video Player?

Keep your videos together and return to the moments you want to watch. Video Player lets you import, organize and play local videos on iPhone and iPad.

IMPORT AND ORGANIZE
Import videos from Files or Photos and store copies in your app library. Create folders, search by name, sort your files, and rename individual items. Move or delete multiple items at once. Deleting an imported copy from the library leaves the source file unchanged.

WATCH AT YOUR OWN PACE
Choose playback speeds from 0.5× to 2× for supported videos, jump forward or back, and switch between fit and fill. Resume from your saved position and revisit recently watched videos. You can turn playback history recording on or off and clear existing records.

SUBTITLES AND AUDIO
Choose from available audio tracks and embedded subtitles. Import SRT or WebVTT subtitle files, adjust their timing and text size, and associate them with your videos. Automatic matching can find subtitles with the same base filename in the same app folder.

YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY
View file details and storage usage, manage import tasks, and clear cached thumbnails and temporary files. Choose light, dark or system appearance. Videos fully imported into the app can be played offline.

Playback compatibility depends on the file’s container, video and audio codecs, and your device. Not every selectable file can be played. Video Player does not include a movie catalog or download videos from websites.
