It appears to use the same optimal play based on single bet and not take into account of the Royal Flush bonus at max play. For example, when deal AQJ with AJ suited, it recommends holding the unsuited QJ. This would be the correct play if you weren’t playing max bet but everyone should know max bet with the RF bonus is the only way to play VP for maximum odds. And under max bet, the proper hold woild be the suited AJ. As a trainer to prepare players for actual optimum play, this is pretty bad. I also wish the payout adjustment could be fine tuned to match actual casion variations but that’s just a wish list item. ### 4/5 — Betting *2025-08-17, version 4.5.1* Would be perfect if it allowed higher bets. It is limited in the number variations that can be played however, but limited options may be preferred so as not to be overwhelmed by choices. The look and feel of the game itself could use some updating; It’s not what you’ll find in an actual casino. Such as a Game King device. I’m paying for this. Enough with this add-on garbage. ### 1/5 — Basic strategy wildly wrong for double bonus *2022-03-02, version 4.1.0* The trainer gives wildly wrong advice for the double bonus game telling me to hold KJ unsuited over 4 to an inside straight with 2 high cards. Took a screenshot and confirmed with the many video poker charts available. Then the combo comes up a bit later that I don’t keep and it says I am wrong. I held only a deuce and It said I was wrong. Then the example comes up showing I held three cards that I did not do and to only hold the deuce in the analyzer. That made me delete the app. ### 2/5 — Ok *2014-02-16, version 2.5.1* Fantastic idea, beautifully designed. One huge problem though, they recommend incorrect moves. For example, they recommend you hold a two pair in deuces wild rather than just a pair. On earlier iPhones I had, I could rotate the phone and the play orientation could either be horizontal or vertical. Now the play is just vertical. My phone orientation is unlocked and there’s nothing in the app regarding changing the orientation. Any hints? ### 5/5 — Great App *2024-03-17, version 4.4.0* Play this a lot and it is great. Took me a while to figure out why certain hands get played differently since there are no given reasons. However, after paying some attention you can figure out why sometimes is best to keep K and 10 suited or sometimes it’s best to only keep the K. In my opinion, this is a much better way to learn then going to a strategy card. ### 5/5 — Great App - Some Quirks *2024-03-07* Play this a lot and it is great.
