I’ve bought a few effects that I used and made edits with. I LOVED this app. However, a recent update and I’m no longer able to access these effects because “family sharing does not apply to in app purchases.” The thing is, I was able to access these for the two/three years, so I don’t really believe this has always been a rule. It’s really disappointing, because this has been my favorite app and video making app for forever, and now I can’t edit or do the things I used to that made it so fun. Instead of being able to use the few effects I bought, now I have to pay for a subscription to access every effect. I considered doing this, but it’s such a waste of money because I really only use a few. I understand the app is special and I am happy to repay for the effects I can no longer access. Why are all powerpacks deleted? Do you seriously expect us to spend monthly on all packs when most of us use less than half of them? I’ve never complained about vs because I really do love this app but this is ridiculous. There’s so much you can do on it once you get used to it, and you can make some really clean edits. The velocity is really good and the keyframing is amazing too. I’ve tried other editing apps but I always come back to Video Star. Where is the power packs? Why everything turned into pay to win? And where is one week subscription? You know only did have smooth velocity. You couldn’t even have a smooth velocity. You couldn’t even put a filter. This is absolutely shocking.here’s my experience. I got the app. Then then put the video that I wanted to edit. I could not even split it. The only options that I had were to zoom in on the video. Change the colour of the background, not the background in the video just the background that I was working on. And that was it, period.
