## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Super buggy never download no accuracy

*2023-12-02*

Worst app ever downloaded. Not accurate at all. Every time I scroll til the end it sends a different time. I took a video and at first it was 1.23 now it’s 1.49. Don’t download it, not worth the price. There also is no tutorial on how to make it work. You will spend hours figuring out that it’s the most buggy garbage app ever.

### 1/5 — Was cool when it worked

*2021-09-12, version 2.0*

Worked for a minute. Now it won’t upload video.

### 1/5 — What a waste

*2019-10-29, version 1.1.3*

No export feature, what’s the point! Ripped off!

### 1/5 — You can’t export the results.

*2019-10-08*

This is a one off use - great you can see the time but can’t save the video with timings on.
Not what I wanted.

### 1/5 — App won’t let you export video

*2019-01-06, version 1.1.3*

As some other reviewers have mentioned, you can’t export a time stamped video. That’s the only reason why I bought this app. It’s completely ridiculous that they’re charging people money just to display the time of a video. My phone already does that by itself 😑

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2017-12-10, version 1.1.3*

Will not import video
Help button does not get help

### 1/5 — Can't export, what's the point

*2017-06-04, version 1.1.3*

It a failure without the ability to save or export video with time stamp

### 1/5 — Worked only once

*2017-04-04, version 1.1.3*

I was able to import a video and set start and end points and it calculated the elapsed time which was great. After that, the app fails to find any videos to import. I tried to trouble shoot by:

- making sure that the app had permission to photos/videos. It did.
- uninstalled and reinstalled the app and rebooted iPhone.
- tried it on my iPad
- made sure there was enough available memory. There was 1.3 GBs
- contacted tech support. All they could suggest was to check to see if app has permission to photos.

All attempts failed.

### 1/5 — :(

*2016-02-08, version 1.1.1*

It the kind of app that isn't the best

### 1/5 — No good

*2014-10-10, version 1.1.1*

It's bad. I'd leave it at that if it didn't work properly, but it doesn't work at all! I'd rather get an app that does nothing at all than get one that CLAIMS that i does something but doesn't work. DO NOT GET THIS.

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-05-05, version 1.1.3*

It’s impossible to be perfect since I am usually in the grandstands and not perfectly at the finish. I almost always get within one tenth of a second of FAT. I need to learn a bit more, but it’s FAR more accurate than hand timing. Vantage point is everything. You must view the starters smoke and have a reasonable view of the finish. It’s been fairly reliable for over a year.

### 5/5 — LOVE this app!

*2016-12-08, version 1.1.3*

This app is perfect for determining a sprinters exact velocity, stride rate and stride frequency! So simple to use!

### 5/5 — Nearly perfect for this Physics teacher

*2014-09-09, version 1.0*

I have my Physics students do a lot of labs and our results have improved a ton by using this app instead of hand timers. Acceleration due to gravity measure within 2% is pretty common now.
One issue is that it has some latency when starting the recording (this is on an iPhone 5s), so you may want to let the video roll a bit before starting the motion you want to track.

Great app! Keep it free, please!

### 4/5 — Great Sports app

*2016-04-26, version 1.1.1*

This is my 3rd season using this app. It runs great. After I upload a video from my son running; I always have the times before the judges.

Request: it would be nice to have an overlay stopwatch on the screen with options to synchronize with green pin, overplayed and in the video, and overplayed and not in the video. That way when I am filming I can see the running stopwatch ( so separate buttons: one to start filming, which I always do early and a start stopwatch button/such both)

I would pay for that upgrade / functionality.

### 4/5 — Perfect for my need tonight!

*2015-01-03, version 1.1.1*

I had taken some slo-mo video with my iPhone 5s of my cockatoo scratching his head (it's just like how a dog uses its hind leg to repetitively scratch its head). I was curious how fast he did it; tried to use a stopwatch app while watching the video, and got a good rough estimate – not good enough because: engineer. Problem is that it's hard to use a soft button when not watching the screen.

While looking for a stopwatch that might use one of the volume buttons for its control, I found this app. Turned out it was just what I needed and worked perfectly for me. (The answer is ~9.7Hz.)

Only two suggestions: the ability to move the start marker without clearing all, and ability to copy or otherwise export the timing data.

Thanks for a very useful app! (Especially for free!)

### 3/5 — Developer … please advise

*2023-01-24*

UPDATE … It’s O.K. don’t bother

It turns out that I need to grant access to ALL photos, not just a selection, for your App to do an import.

Seems a strange arrangement, given that the choice is offered.

Original Review:

I have submitted two messages via your web-page, but the only response is the phrase “Bad bad bad!5” … this means nothing to me, but presumably means something to you. I am seeking help with importing existing videos into the App.

### 3/5 — Ok but with flawsz

*2020-01-26, version 2.0*

App works as intended, I use it to time 0-60 and it is accurate to a deviation of +/-0.1.

Three flaws:

-When scrubbing through video, can not hear any sound, that would be a big help.

-If the video is edited in the camera roll and the changes are saved, those changes do not show up when you import the video into the app. Very annoying.

-Also too pricey, needs to be like $2.99 or $3.99

### 3/5 — Nice start.. But missing obvious things

*2018-03-09, version 1.1.3*

Can't save video with stopwatch overlay (the whole reason I bought the app)

Once you enter stop/start point, the video should start at 00.00.00 but instead the clock doesn't reset at the "start" point so you need to do the math yourself to calculate the time at the end point. If the video starts at 00.00.00 and the thing starts at 00.01.32 then at the end point you need to subtract 1.32s from the end time.

The live video should have the time displayed over it.
