You must allow user to use the app for few times to understand the usage and usefulness. Pls understand the concern and make free few times with few options for trials. I liked the few of features but unless i use it fully unable to decide for buying. The audio isn’t present during editing. ### 2/5 — Crashes *2020-04-23* I was using this to add text to some videos for work and I got through 2/4 videos I needed before it started to crash. It lets me go through and add text over the whole video - I can place, size, and edit it well. When I go to save it, it loads video for about 2 seconds before the app closes itself out and I lose all of my progress. I tried killing the app totally before trying again but got the same result. ### 3/5 — This app is... disappointing *2019-07-13* Ok. Before I say this, I gave it 3 stars because it’s pretty easy to use and it’s crisp. However: 1. you can’t choose when to put the text in the video, so what’s the point of the app? It puts the text down in 5 second increments that don’t even start at the beginning of the video. 2. There’s no menu or anything, really— you’re just thrown into the app 3. **DO NOT BUY “PREMIUM”** It is a waste of 3 bucks. They say “you now have access to premium features”. That’s it. I got it thinking I could change the point in the video where it says the text but no siree bob nothing happened. **Developer response:** There is a "timing" option on the bottom bar. (after "stroke") Once that is selected you will see two buttons to set the beginning and end time of the text. It's not a premium feature, and is available for everyone. ### 1/5 — Worst *2018-12-21* Terrible sound quality crashes too much and takes too much time don’t recommend **Developer response:** Thank you for providing details with your feedback. After looking into the sound quality issue a relevant bug has been found and fixed. An update with the bugfix is going to be released as soon as Apple resumes processing app submissions after the holiday. This will also address some crashes. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Ridiculous *2026-03-17* I just downloaded the app and literally JUST opened it and immediately get a pop up to rate the app? You’re LITERALLY asking me to rate something I haven’t even USED because I just opened the app for the first time. So I’m giving you one star for wasting my time and asking me to rate something BEFORE I even had a chance to use it. Can you please assist? ### 3/5 — I keep loosing my progress *2020-05-07* The app is great. It does what I need it to do and it does it well and easy. BUT! The app doesn’t save your progress. If you go out of the app for too long all your progress is GONE. If you accidentally close out the app, GONE. I wish it would occasionally save your progress or that you could have different projects. I really love this app but this is a huge thing that makes it bad for me.
