One request, though. Can you add the option to turn off looping? My toddler is confused by the loops; he keeps thinking it’s another truck and another truck and another. It would help keep the flow so that he keeps trying new things. **Developer response:** Hi, thank you for your suggestion. Ansonsten klare Kaufempfehlung! ### 5/5 — Great for Special Needs & Babies *2014-06-17* Although these apps were designed for babies and toddlers, I've purchased every one of the Video Touch apps for my daughter who is a young adult with special needs. Autism is one of her many issues and the ability to control what she watches and to watch the same videos over and over if she chooses makes her so happy. Now I have a grandson who is old enough to enjoy my iPad and he is intrigued as well. We can talk about the pictures before he starts a video and discuss what is happening just like reading a book together but with moving pictures instead. The ability to set a minimum length to each video and to choose how to close the video - with a touch anywhere on the screen or by an arrow icon - are very useful so that a very inexperienced user can control the screen and then advance to a more sophisticated method when they are ready. Another nice feature is that if you own more than one of the apps you will find that you only need to open one of them and all the rest are accessible from little icons at the bottom screen. I have purchased quite a number of apps specifically for my daughter and the Video Touch apps are among the best that I own. Each video is recorded beautifully and intriguing to watch and the developer has continued to augment and improve them over time. I have reviewed over 100 apps. This is the best. My 22-month son is enthralled. Easy to access. Videos are beautiful, educational and non-threatening. The range and subject matter showing depth and understanding. Perfect for a growing inquisitive mind. My 2 year old and 4 year old love these apps. Perfect and simple! Your child will be given a grid of icons that correlate to the chosen app (in this case cars, planes, trains, trucks, etc). They choose an icon and they get to watch a continuous (no fast cuts!) clip of the chosen icon. Watch the TED Talk on kids watching shows with fast cuts to learn why that is NOT a good thing. Get this! Kudos to the developer for shaving around 200MB off of each app in the latest update! Thank you! ### 4/5 — Хорошо *2013-02-21* Отличное приложение, только из-за ролика, где самолет взлетает "на тебя", ребенок стал бояться самолетов((((((( ### 5/5 — Great update to soundtouch *2013-02-14* My baby loves this update based off the classic Sound Touch app. While that app was photographs of various vehicles, this version is actually video clips of those vehicles. 10-20 seconds clips of fire trucks with their sirens screeching, motorcycles revving by, and water slapping the sides of an oncoming boat. Each vehicle rotates through 4 separate video clips with each tap from your child. It is a stand alone app that if you purchase the companion apps (animals, wild animals) they will integrate into each other with a button at the bottom of the page, just like sound touch. I'd recommend this app to any parent looking for an educational app for baby- preschool! ### 5/5 — Great App! *2013-01-15* This app goes along with two other Video Touch apps, but when you purchased two or more, the icons for all three appear at the bottom of each app to easily switch back and forth. The apps are similar to Sound Touch, but with videos instead of images. There are 12 items per app (for example, 12 animals in the wild animals category, including elephant, wild cats, bear, primates, zebras, etc.). When you touch an item, zebra for example, it brings up a video of the animal or vehicle that ranges in length from 5 to 30 seconds. There are currently four videos per item, for a total of 48 videos per app (be warned—this takes up a lot of space on your iPhone or iPad!). The videos are accompanied by sound, but the name of the animal is not announced. The videos are all HD quality. It is easy to navigate for little ones with large icons and a tap anywhere on the screen to move from a video back to the menu (or the option of an arrow). The video will loop repeatedly (iPad only) until the screen (or arrow) is touched. The videos are educational, showing the natural habitat or behavior of animals, and how machines and vehicles work. My son watches the train, police motorcycle, and fire truck videos over, and over, and over... ### 5/5 — Für Kleinkinder eine super App *2012-12-21* Meine Kinder (zurzeit 2 und 3 Jahre alt) können alle SoundTouch Apps eigenständig bedienen und sind insbesondere von dieser App mit den Fahrzeugen faziniert. Durch die Videosequenzen - im Gegensatz zu SoundTouch (Classic) - macht ihnen die App noch mehr Spaß. Wir freuen uns schon auf VideoTouch Musikinstrumente. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Très bien mais déçu. *2019-07-05* Ce jeux est très bien mais en revanche l’achat de l’application au complet n’est pas possible, ou alors: à chaque fois il faut acheter que une session seulement (ex:véhicules) et au bout du compte le jeux est très cher!!! I didn't realize at first, but there are multiple videos behind each video showing different types of the same vehicle. Both video and audio are good quality. I would recommend to purchase! **Developer response:** Hi, The app contains several different items FOR EACH of the vehicles. Different kinds of trains, different kinds of ships, different airplanes and different cars. This feature lets the toddler understand that there are vehicles which share the same name. The same goes for all the other apps: different kinds of animals, different kinds fish and different kinds musical instruments. I know people complain when the free version only offers a few but buy the entire bundle and enjoy your child staying entertained for hours! And in an educational way. The video ones work the same as the photo ones, each time you tap an item it shows you a new video of that item, for example a piano being played but many versions of it each time you tap so you aren't seeing the same thing each time.
