I’ve tried calling the helpline at Came however because I’m an end user then they will only help me so far. I’ve called the installer out on numerous occasions at a cost which is now unpalatable for him to only delete and reinstall the app which I now do myself. 9 times out of 10 it works immediately however later on that day or the next it glitches again and doesn’t allow me to open my gates remotely. At times I can click on the camera and see through my Came Intercom Camera and then there’s times when I can’t but if I press the Gate release then it opens the gate. There’s also times (mostly) when there’s no action at all. Very disappointing and inconvenient. At this moment I could never recommend Came to anyone! Is there a helpline for the end user or a newer app that’s available? Kevin ### 2/5 — Works but clunky *2025-02-25, version 1.7.4* It works but on my iPhone 14 Pro it will not do a ring tone? Not sure why. I don’t know if I can use a different app to control my Came BPT gate system, but I would definitely use something else if I knew how. The key problem is that the app does not reliably connect to the gate intercom. It does sometimes connect through, but never when trying to pick up an incoming call from the intercom. So you can’t see or hear who’s there and also can’t open the gate. I don’t have connectivity problems with any other Wi-Fi devices or any other apps, just something about the way this app is designed to work which simply doesn’t. Il trasferimento delle chiamate alla postazione remota è troppo lento e le notifiche non vengono mostrate se l'iPhone è in standby; rispondere è complicato: bisogna aprire l'app e premere il pulsante verde e si perdono secondi e chi suona é già andato via. La navigazione presenta bug, con alcune pagine senza opzioni per tornare indietro o alla home. Serve una notifica di chiamata più strutturata, stile chiamata (slide per rispondere). Et aucun parametrage..😩 Came automation or video entry to simply (a one button press) open and close my gate ?? ### 1/5 — Mauvaise application *2024-04-12, version 1.7.0* Je regrette cette application et ce système, j’ai été mal conseillé. - Message d’erreur à chaque ouverture de l’application « erreur d’enregistrement Xip, serveur Xip introuvable, tous les services Xip seront désactivés ». - Trop de manipulations pour avoir accès à la caméra si bien que le visiteur est déjà reparti - Bugs incessants - Latence - Déconnexion wifi récurrente. - Quand l’appel est pris par l’interphone, qui n’est des fois pas signalé par l’application, impossible d’avoir accès via le téléphone, il faut attendre un certain délai. Apka ciągle ma jakieś błędy, a żeby otworzyć bramę muszę wchodzić bardzo daleko w aplikacje... Zanim to zrobię to już wolę otworzyć ją z pilota... ### 1/5 — Delusione *2024-02-14, version 1.7.0* Ho acquistato questo videocitofono in quanto tutti mi dicevano che sarebbe stato una garanzia… poiché per motivi di lavoro sono sempre fuori casa… e mi faceva comodo ricevere le chiamate in remoto. Tutto inutile!!! In casa funziona bene, nulla da dire, ma con iOS 17.3.1 fuori, non rimane connesso al cloud e mi da da ERROE XIP NON TROVATO. Cioè praticamente la funzione per la quale ho acquistato non va. All WiFi devices work fine with Sky, had them out nothing wrong with router. Firstly they do not support problems. You have to go through third parties who are not as knowledgeable about the product. Secondly, the software is very poor and the app never works, which for me was a major reason to get it. Not user friendly at all. Very clunky to use. Fire your software engineers and use AI to build something better in an hour. I use My2N at our other property which is much easier to use. Je recommande a tout acheteur potentiel de portier vidéo de sélectionner une marque concurrente s’il souhaite utiliser Siri / Apple HomeKit. En outre il paiera généralement moins cher. We all assume that when a company says that they have an app to control their product, that it will work. This doesn’t. But, it seems so close that it might do, so you end up wasting hours and hours trying to get it to work, and then, finally IT DOES! But only for about five minutes…. Some update or other, whether on this app, your controlling OS, or even just the ISP that you use, and then nopes, it’s no good anymore. Put another few hours of effort in and maybe you’ll get it working again, maybe not. But when you need it? Definitely not. All’inizio era un po’ lenta ma almeno riuscivo a vedere chi citofonava. Due stelle solo perché almeno arriva ancora la notifica quando qualcuno suona. Speriamo in un aggiornamento. Edit: mi hanno messo in contatto con l’assistenza che, telefonicamente, mi ha aiutato a risolvere il problema. Installato da tempo sistema monofamiliare composto da microtelefono (citofono) e monitor X7 con purtroppo problemi legati al servizio su remoto, scoperto poi con la pronta disponibilità dell'assistenza, essere dovuto principalmente ad impostazioni errate sul modem di casa, e quindi non di responsabilità Came (avrei dovuto considerare con maggiore attenzione questo aspetto non da poco) oltre ad un mancato aggiornamento del sistema. L'assistenza, in questo caso nella persona del Sig. Rudi, é stata superlativa visto addirittura l'instradamento ricevuto su impostazioni riguardo, appunto, dispositivi esterni. io tratto normalmente con assistenze tecniche telefoniche ed obiettivamente difficilmente trovo situazioni eguali così disponibili e pazienti. Con le sue indicazioni, ho risolto tutti i problemi ### 4/5 — Problemi continui *2024-11-20, version 1.7.3* Purtroppo non ho scelto io che prodotto installare…e mi è toccato questo… speravo di non trovarmi male come gli altri che hanno recensito prima di me ma purtroppo devo confermare i pareri peggiori. Adesso poi che ho cambiato telefono e ho un iPhone 15 non riesco proprio a configurarlo per via di un “errore sul dispositivo“ che immagino sia il posto interno, almeno con il mio vecchio iPhone X dopo vari tentativi ero riuscita a installarlo e funzionava - non benissimo - ma delle volte sono riuscita ad aprire. Ho contattato tutti i contattabili e in ultimo ho mandato un‘e-mail al servizio clienti più di 10 gg fa ma nessuno mi ha risposto. Mi chiedo come si abbia il coraggio di vendere un prodotto così scarso. Modifico la recensione dopo alcuni mesi di utilizzo dall’ultimo intervento. Ora che è stata data un’alimentazione al PLX V WI-FI finalmente sembra andare bene almeno il 90% delle volte. A volte qualcosa che lo “confonde” c’è ma rispetto a come era partito va meglio. Rimane che arrivare al risultato è stata un’agonia e che la app non è granché a mio modo di vedere, l’esperienza utente è macchinosa e non immediata. Anche gestire la chiamata in entrata non è praticissimo, speriamo in un miglioramento! ### 4/5 — Funziona di nuovo anche su iPad! *2022-11-20, version 1.6.0* Avete rilasciato nuova versione App e adesso funziona. Grazie ————- Dopo aggiornamento iOS 16 su iPad si apre una sola volta e le successive va immediatamente in crash senza neanche mostrare la pagina di selezione delle funzioni. Anche reinstallando l’App il comportamento non cambia. Potete risolvere?
