Also, playback constantly drops out even though the camera is hard wired. If I could give less than 1 stars I would. All the other app makers update their apps when customers complain, these guys must have retired, no UPDATE to fix?? I don’t understand why LOCK IN TIME is not locking in the time. It just changes it for the day. How hard is it to fix it? ### 1/5 — horrible *2025-04-22, version 2.2.1* The iPhone app and the iPad app are crashing. The app seems to be running. I can sign in twice to get into it but when I hit on the camera, it’s not functioning at all. It’s a black screen and on my PC the camera is fine. The GUI is fine. This is the worst GUI on the phone that I’ve ever had to deal with and all my years with cameras, it’s horrible. I wish I could send it back. The camera works great, but I can’t access it. Account Creation Doesn't Work. *2026-02-18, version 2.3.1* So many bugs in the login screen that I can't even make an account to get started. It requires that you send a captcha to an email account and respond with the answer within 60 seconds. I have an o365 email... The captcha never comes. Not in my inbox or junk. I also get a popup with two buttons to press and the text is blanked out so you have no idea what it's supposed to say. Please fix ASAP ### 3/5 — Buggy Software *2024-09-25, version 2.1.2* I have an issue that Jennova tech support can’t even give me an answer about. It’s regarding the vehicle detection. If it’s turned on it will give me “human” motion detected push notifications. The problem is THERE ISN’T A HUMAN. Tech support refused to answer my question on why this happens. I’m a professionally licensed alarm technician that also installs CCTV systems on the daily. I’ve never seen this issue before. I think what’s happening is the coded terminology is incorrect, obviously it should say “vehicle” detected. Simple patch will fix that issue. However, I think the problem goes further than that. Anytime I have “vehicle” detection enabled and if the camera is looking at a parked vehicle the camera constantly has motion boxes (green) around the vehicle and it’s constantly flickering as if it were moving. It’s literally a parked vehicle. It should only alert for vehicle detection if that vehicle ENTERS the motion region. Not when it’s already existing within the Motion region that’s parked. Other than those two issues I think it’s a great camera for being less than $200. Update. No matter if vehicle, bike, pet, or human is on it will ALWAYS say “human” Motion detected. It worked fine until recently. Anytime I click the share video option. It will instantly crash and shut down. All of my videos are being held captive because you can’t even go into the iTunes App Store and download them. The app has no way to clear the cache without deleting the entire app itself. I downloaded the app on my iPad and it almost instantly started having the same problem. It’s so frustrating that this is the app SV3C chose to represent them. ### 2/5 — Captcha issues *2024-02-19, version 2.0.0* I can’t get passed the captcha for some reason I add 123 as the pic and error wants 6 digits. ### 2/5 — Works but needs many improvements *2023-12-16* This app works however many times it’s quite slow. The push notifications will say Human Detected over and over again if my car is parked in front of the camera. The notification don’t contain a photo so you have to go digging for it. When you first access the app, it just shows the last photo from when you accessed it before, which is misleading. There are many time zone bugs. Sometimes the time is local and sometimes it’s in universal time. I use a memory card for video storage and it’s super slow to change date and use timeline.
