App deleted. It does have some nice options and a simple interface. I did remove ads for free today. Adding text is an IAP. I’m erasing this application; there’s very good other video editing apps with honest developers. ### 1/5 — Frustrated and disappointed *2018-04-11, version 1.8* First let me say I do like the ability to stitch together video clips and the ease of editing. The problem is that when the program shuts down before editing is complete it apparently deletes any uncompleted projects. This is totally unacceptable. I recorded a video today that was a one time effort and the program either crashed or otherwise shut down. When I went back to finish up edits it was nowhere to be found. To my way of thinking this makes the program pretty much useless. If I find the video later I will edit this review but as of now I am very frustrated and I only regret I have to give at least a 1. ### 2/5 — App Crashes *2018-03-09, version 1.6* App keeps crashing and will not load videos properly. The app you just downloaded and are opening for the very first time, they want a review. They want a positive review before your first use because they know that once you try it out, you’ll see that it’s trash and immediately delete it. No part of the app works. You can’t edit your videos because it doesn’t allow you to open them, it just shows what’s saved on your phone. So naturally you go to settings but that is nothing more than their hiding place for the in-app purchases; no settings. The app does nothing. I tried 10 different videos from my phone, all of varying lengths, and noticed. In eight minutes that I fiddaddled with the app, I asked me to rate the app TWELVE TIMES! Well, here you go: “You're worthless! You're less than nothing! What's keeping you here? You don't belong here! Why don't you just quit?” - Wayne Campbell ### 1/5 — Ads, ads, ads *2018-02-12, version 1.6* No less than 3 ads in the first MINUTE of evaluating this app. Insta-deleted. ### 1/5 — Remove adds free of charge? *2018-02-10, version 1.6* Ads were supposed to be removed for free today as a promotional offer. App wanted to charge $0.99 for ad removal. Deleted. In response to the developer’ response. I honestly don’t remember if I knew I had to go through the IAP ad removal process during the promotional period. Instructions would have been helpful, unless I missed them and then it would have been my mistake. I probably assumed like many other reviewers that purchasing the App during the promo was all that was necessary. Some reviews claim they did try the promo within the proper time frame and it didn’t work. Deleting, restarting and reinstalling shouldn’t be necessary. When you open the App you immediately get an in your face full page ad and are asked for a review. I think we can agree that before you can give an honest review you need to be able to use the App. Secondly the ad appears to push the review request partially off the top of the screen. iOS 11.2.5 has a option to opt out of requests for reviews that developers should be abiding by. If the ad removal promo is offered again I would give the App a try and leave an honest review. ### 2/5 — Very average *2018-02-06, version 1.6* I use a lot of video editing apps and this one is really just inconvenient. You have to go back when you want to go to another filter. There are way better ones out there. There are even better free ones than this thing. First, it asks for a review before you even use it, even though I already left a forgotten review long ago. Then, it really isn’t obvious how to get into a video, then when you finally open that video, it gives you an ad, then shuts down. After several attempts, I’m deleting the app. Have to watch a 5 second ad before each edit. And those edit options usually don’t engage, so you have to watch that ad against and again and again before things like the record option works. When there’s an X in the corner nothing happens when you press it. Seriously, you’ve ruined a great experience. So disappointing. I need to find an identical app but without the ads. This is my go-to app for trimming especially, but there are lots of other great features. Easy to use interface.
