The live view either takes forever to load or doesn’t work at all, or only some work while others don’t. Outside of that, the app is useless. Can’t even add a device/save. Was debugging on my FW & never even saw the request arriving, so who knows where the hell my IP, Username/PW were being sent to. Someone recommended to use their sister app @ IDMSS Lite instead, but the EULA is joke. Just read section 2 & you’ll see exactly what data/personal info (down to your exact coordinates). ### 1/5 — Get locked out constantly *2019-11-10* If you read online you should only be locked out if there are three failed attempts with a wrong password. I do a hard reset and within a half hour, with no login attempts, the system now locks you out. I have a static IP and all the NVR configs are correct, port forwarding , etc. FIX YOUR App! ### 1/5 — Horrible App *2019-10-22, version 1.6* Hardly ever connects to my phone. It never seems to be working correctly. ### 1/5 — UPDATE: Download IDMISS Lite App *2019-06-12, version 1.6* UPDATE: If you have a new iPhone and your VideoView app became worthless, download the IDMSS Lite app in place of it. You will need to call ADT to have the IP, port, etc updated. Our cameras and app are back to working order now after many days of frustration. _________________________________________________________________ This app has been limping along for the past year. Now, no one can get their cameras to work on their mobile devices. Be sure to call ADT and let them have an earful. Apparently they’re getting flooded with complaints. Now maybe something will get fixed. ### 1/5 — Video View Mobile *2019-05-30, version 1.6* The developer needs to update the app to make it compatible with the new operating systems (e.g. iPhone). Downloaded this app as instructed and nothing works especially once you leave your home. The ADT reps tried everything but still not working. And it is not the internet cable company. It’s ADT and this App. ADT fix it. We no longer can view our cameras on outside via this App from ADT. We will cancel once our contract is up. Very frustrating, loses connectivity a lot, even w/ excellent internet service. I have had their cameras in place at the front, rear and inside my house for a year and a half. For that ENTIRE time, the ADT team have been UNABLE to connect my iPhone to their recording cameras. Technicians have come out and wasted my time every month - and still cannot connect to the cameras. It’s a pathetic and sad state that is still unresolved - please, PLEASE do NOT use ADT for ANY of your security needs. In the Philadelphia area consider vector, Holicong, xfinity, or anyone else. ### 1/5 — Terrible for playback! *2018-12-31, version 1.6* Playback goes in and out of working. When I called ADT to help me, they didn’t even really know what to do or to say to get it working again. Such a waste of money, guess if someone breaks into my business, I won’t even have a description of the person or what happened because my camera’s playback is so crappy! So unreliable, and the app is severely outdated and confusing. Save your money and go with a different company! So frustrating. ### 1/5 — Cumbersome app *2018-12-22, version 1.6* This app is not very user friendly. Although the images are high quality it is cumbersome to go from one image to another. Can take awhile to load. Not user friendly at all, i have to hit numerous menu buttons to even get live view, forget it if i need to access my hard drive to see old video. Rewinding is difficult but only due to small screen. My biggest gripe is the playback feature, the UI needs to be refreshed for better filtering of time frames. Setup should be left to a professional who understands networking/port forwarding/DNS servers. IPad version works quite well but on iPhone, I don't have bottom screen icons in vertical mode and in horizontal mode, right side of screen is cut off. The other two start loading for a few seconds and then they go blank. I’ve tried numerous times. Fix the app please. The tech guy thinks it could be my mobile carrier. I have AT&T and I have an iPhone XS. I’ve never had any problems with my cell phone, internet or signal.
