Are you going to be working for the NFL tomorrow? ### 1/5 — Not even worth the 20 bucks for the first month *2023-10-01, version 5.4.0* I work nights and sometimes I have time to watch a football game. They had the game I wanted to watch so I pay 20 bucks and watch the game. The next week I try and watch another game. Nothing but a black screen. I try restarting my device, nothing, I uninstall and reinstall the app nothing, I uninstall the app restart my device again nothing. I tried a second device nothing. What a ripoff fix your stuff or go out of business because the way your app works you are just scammers. ### 2/5 — Top tier pricing, bottom tier service. Needs work!! *2023-09-30, version 5.4.0* Thankfully, I only did the $20 monthly trial and do not commit to a more expensive plan. I have had issue after issue with this service. The app frequently glitches, lags, unexpectedly closes, signs me out, etc. The mobile app does the same. The channel lineup is pretty good, but the user interface is awful and the development of the platform needs a lot of attention. Vidgo wants to charge top tier prices with bottom tier prices. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2023-09-24, version 5.4.0* Video quality is bad, lags, crashes often, and is not easy to navigate. Spend the money on You Tube tv, Direct Tv, or anything else. Otherwise you are going to spend more time frustrated than watching your preferred programming. ### 1/5 — ZERO stars - Don’t bother *2023-09-23, version 5.4.0* This is the most horrible streaming service app ever (AppleTV). It is super buggy, quits constantly, sometimes making you re-login. I used for 45 minutes and had it quit 5 times. Streaming picture is super low res most of the time (and no, It’s not my bandwidth problem). You can’t get the closed captions to turn off, and when you try it won’t get rid of the guide menus all over the screen. And they say they’ve been in business for 5 years? I don’t see how. Called customer service only to have the call drop three times, and to be told they are having technical problems with their computers (no kidding). And after 1 hour of using their service, will not issue a refund. RIDICULOUSLY horrible company. ### 1/5 — Do Not waste your money or time *2023-09-20, version 5.4.0* Worst app I ever tried, for tv coverage, and I have tried them all. Picture is poor, couldn't log in..... Just Don't! ### 2/5 — App Review *2023-09-19, version 5.4.0* Many reviews talk about the service itself. This was an alternative service I decided to try that streamed a niche channel at a lower cost to other services. I knew going in what channels were missing. I am disappointed in the video quality. What I really want to talk about is the app itself, it is an early beta at best. QR code for logging in didn’t work, app crashed when trying to stream a channel. Forced to log in via email/password in the app. Channels are slow to start streaming with varying video quality over a fiber connection where other services have no issues. The guide hangs on a blank screen for up to 30 seconds before loading, that’s a fail. Same with other menus like movies and shows. The final complaint is the prominent logout option in the top right corner. Navigating with Apple TV remote touchpad is bad enough but invariably I end up clicking logout by mistake. Follow other apps and bury that in a submenu. ### 1/5 — Absolutely Terrible! *2023-09-18, version 5.4.0* Decided to try this service. On the second day, the platform was fully down and not useable for over 15 hours. Once I was able to re-access the platform and sign in, I did so to cancel the service. Here’s a weird side note - to cancel the service, I was required to answer questions about my age, gender, and race. Why is this information needed??? ### 1/5 — Worse app ever *2023-09-17, version 5.4.0* This app is not user friendly at all… the app doesnt even have a button to click to login. Save your money and get another app ### 1/5 — Even worse than I expected *2023-09-17, version 5.4.0* I can’t even write all of the problems across every single platform. Mobile app, iPad, Roku, desktop, they’re all riddled with problems. Can’t pause ESPN. Picture quality seems low. All apps are ridiculously slow/borderline unusable. Roku app wouldn’t accept my password even though that password worked fine on desktops and mobile versions of Vidgo. Tried this service primarily because they were one of the few with the Longhorn Network. Then when Texas plays Wyoming, the system crashes right at the start and I didn’t get to watch a single second of the game. I thought as long as a streaming service had the right channels, I could put up with a slightly inferior user experience. But this is beyond bad. Feels like a beta that wasn’t ready for production. Seemed like it had potential. Half way through the game I bought this service for it froze, signed me out and then hasn’t let me back in. It took forever just to be able to get the app to open. When it finally opened, it would work for a little while, then it would crash and you have to delete the app and try to start all over again. They lured me with a $20 for first month discount. This is the absolute worst streaming service. First of all, they don’t even have local channels like CBS, Fox, or NBC. This literally removes 3 hot channels for sports , yet they advertise that they were voted number one for college sports. Yeah right. When you try to log in for the big game, it will tell you that your not permitted randomly. This isn’t the streaming service you want, period. First they offer a free week trial and say they will notify you before they start charging you, well that didn’t happen. Second your first month is supposed to be $20 no matter what plan you choose, so I went with the plus and got charged the full $69.99 again with no notification. Third I’ve tried contacting support by calling (3 times) and then put in a ticket through the support page with no response. Yes the guide isn’t the best but you can still find the things you want to watch relatively easy and as far as customer service problems I had the 20 first month promo but was charged full price. Contacted them and instantly refunded the difference. Vidgo isn’t the best but it’s definitely better than the reviews it’s getting. ### 5/5 — Definitely love *2023-04-13, version 5.3* Vidgo seems to be getting it right and continually and constantly improving features functionality and probably one of the cleanest video streams out there with very low latency and buffering.
