## What is Vidual Inbox?

You forward emails between the team. Someone replies, nobody else knows. Instagram DMs vanish into one person's phone. A customer follows up and three people answer at once — or nobody does. You deserve better than "check the sent folder."

And for many brands, Instagram DMs now rival email for volume. The tools that came before treated social as an afterthought — bolted on, second-class. The help desks built for fifty-person support teams (Freshdesk, Zendesk, Help Scout, Groove) charge per seat, take days to configure, and still don't quite get DMs.

Vidual Inbox is the alternative. One shared inbox for every channel — designed for agile teams that don't all work under one roof, but want to feel like they do. With one price and no pay-per-seat in sight.

On Apple Watch: read new messages in large, easy type and reply by voice or keyboard. You check the words before they go, and can undo within ten seconds. Leave a note for the team, set a reminder to get back to someone, or hand the conversation to a colleague, all from your wrist.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.7 — 2026-10-23

Shared Instagram posts now show the post itself: the picture large, the caption beneath, tap to see it full size.

On the phone, the answered view has a little more room to breathe.

Small fixes and polish throughout.

### 1.4.6 — 2026-10-18

A few thoughtful updates to Insights. The app will now show notable Instagram accounts that may have interacted withy you, typically ones with high follower accounts. And, if you reply in Instagram rather than Inbox regularly, it now send you a daily grouped email with everyone waiting on that channels, with some information about each one.

### 1.4.5 — 2026-10-16

Your inbox is now cards. Every open conversation is one card with the customer's words on it, and if only one person is waiting, it opens by itself.

Read is shared. Once anyone on your team opens a conversation, it's read for everyone, as in Instagram and WhatsApp.

Reactions are back. Hold a message to react.

Apple Watch: conversations you've finished sit behind a Done line at the foot of the feed, and the unread dot matches your phone.

New here? Setup asks one question, then offers the channels your website names, each with one button. Your logo, hours, phone and address are filled in from your site.

### 1.4.4 — 2026-10-13

A new inbox. Everyone who needs a reply is a card with their words on it: see who is waiting, tap to answer. Search, reminders and your recent replies are one tap away. Prefer the list? It is still in Your profile.

### 1.4.3 — 2026-10-12

React to a message. Hold any Instagram, Messenger or WhatsApp message and pick a reaction. Tap it again to take it back.

Replies sent from Facebook now appear in the conversation, the same as replies sent from Instagram. Your whole team sees what was said, wherever it was answered.

Fewer emails. With the app on your phone, new messages come as a notification only. And once you've answered a customer, we stop emailing you about that conversation.
