Great app and quite accurate, but there are times the app fails to upload the file and says "Unknown error while uploading file". Any reason this happens? I've also subscribed for the app.

This is such a great app, it’s free of clutter and just works. I love the fact that it works with meeting recordings even with multiple people.

I am reaching out to express my deep appreciation for the Vienna Scribe application, a tool I find immensely helpful in my daily writing endeavors. Dictating my thoughts and then editing them meticulously in a word processor significantly enhances my productivity and creative process. As a regular user, its role in my routine is indispensable.

However, I have faced a significant issue that affects my experience. Being visually impaired, I depend on the iPhone’s VoiceOver feature for navigation and app interaction. For a long time, I was unaware of Vienna Scribe’s recording function because it was not detectable by VoiceOver, presenting a considerable accessibility barrier. My curiosity led me to research and confirm that the app indeed had this capability. By using another app to interpret a screenshot of Vienna Scribe’s interface, I finally located the elusive record button.

Despite my proficiency with the iPhone, I’ve had to devise a workaround by temporarily disabling VoiceOver to activate the record button. This method is inconvenient and limits my ability to manage incoming calls or notifications effectively. Although this workaround is creative, it’s not a sustainable or accessible solution for all VoiceOver users, particularly those who may not be comfortable with disabling VoiceOver even briefly.

I am a subscriber to Vienna Scribe, which speaks to my fondness for and frequent use of the app. My ongoing support hinges on enhancements to its accessibility, particularly making the record button VoiceOver compatible. Currently, the app seems accessible and user-friendly in other aspects, but ensuring full accessibility for the record button is critical for an inclusive experience.

In conclusion, I hope my feedback is taken seriously. The needs of VoiceOver users should be a priority, actively addressed to create an accessible and supportive environment for everyone. Your focus on inclusiveness would not only reinforce my loyalty but also significantly improve the experience for visually impaired users globally. Ce logiciel fonctionne très bien, mais parfois, lors des transformations de texte, il a tendance à transformer le texte en anglais, en fonction des choix faits. Il semble que la transformation vers un email marche mieux que la transformation vers un texte muni de paragraphes. C'est un peu dommage, surtout si l'on considère que tout le reste fonctionne très bien et que c'est extrêmement intéressant comme concept. Il reste donc à le finaliser un petit peu. Un widget serait aussi appréciable.

Thanks for this app. It’s very useful when you need transcript in your workflow. The whisper models work great. 

The transform function is awesome in English but when you have a recording in another language it most of the time transforms it into English, which is not the expected behavior. Some prompt engineering might be needed here. Same thing with the renaming feature. 

Sharing a transcript is a bit buggy too : When you want to share your transcript to Notion, the whole text is turned into the title of a new page instead of having it in the body of text. When sharing to Nextcloud, no document is created.

A contact form within the app could be useful for such feedbacks.

Quite a young app so hopefully that will be fixed. Great job over all.

I like that I can further play with the transcriptions within the app and make them useful 😊
Right now it’s more fun and there’s some scope for improvement in the new features that are added. Overall a great update that makes the app a keeper!

I ran into a couple of issues. One is that sometimes the transcribed text isn’t punctuated. That happens more than I’d like. The other is that for a couple of days I wasn’t able to get any transcription at all and it just said “running,” indefinitely. It’s working again now.

Aside from those issues, it does a good job.

Whisper enables accurate transcription that beats competitors, but the app needs to be priced competitively to gain subscriptions. Or better, available for a one-off cost.

Great app and transcriptions but I really need a way to export the audio captured on this app and now I have a long recording that’s basically stuck in this app.

This is another AI ripoff. You pay $10 a month and the app continuously shows transcriber malfunction. Several emails to support are unanswered. Stay away from anything by this developer‼️

The accuracy is the selling point but I can achieve the same running whisper large model at a tiny fraction of their monthly price. You cannot transcribe using urls, tehre is no paragraph generation, no srt generation, no speaker recognition, no translation of languages. The other "transform" features are gimmicky at best, probably they use the cheapest gpt model. 
The app struggles with large files and often gives errors. I can sue local transcription which is now just as fast and there are lesser privacy concerns. This app has not added any good features and seems a waste of money. Support does not respond to emails.

The app has completely failed to do transcription the last 3 times I’ve tried it. Twice it gave me a mix of Korean characters and Wingdings, and just now I tried to transcribe a 10 minute call recording and I got a line of hyphens as the transcription. Haven’t changed anything about how I record or my settings  or anything. Guess I’m cancelling my subscription.

Vienna Scribe transcribes to text with amazing accuracy without training. I record my thoughts to edit later and transcribe from the internet over my desktop speakers. The only downside is I cannot record to it without an internet connection, so on walks I frequently record to voice memo, push the file to iCloud and read it into Scribe later.

As heading says, you can’t believe this until you try it. It is so good, incredibly accurate and almost instant. It gets numbers, place names, people’s name etc amazingly corrext. It has replaced all of the dictation I used to give to my PA.

This app has replaced my transcription service that I pay money to each month and it’s better than Otter and even human transcripts. You can take all of your voice memos in here, and easily transcribe them and play them them inside the app.

It also has a summary function, and it’s incredible.

I’ve been using dictation software for years and spent a lot of money in the process. This is truly incredible — speed and accuracy and portability to have it in IOS. 

Two things would be super helpful additions to me: a pause button on recording, and some sort of verbal tag that could allow for paragraph breaks. Still, this app as is has been a tremendous boon to my productivity and creativity. ThanksQ

I’ve just gotten this app and will likely upgrade to pro soon. Similar price as otter, simpler for my use case, and working well for me so far. 

Three things for the dev:
1. Please add a feature to perform the audio recording through my Apple Watch. That will make this nearly indespensible to me.

2. Please integrate with GPTChat to automatically generate summaries. I copy the recording I do, go to GPTChat and type: summarize this, “<copy of transcript from Scribe>.” These summaries are usually pretty good.

3. Please integrate all of this with Notion. I want to speak into your app then have the transcript and GPTChat summary automatically put in a section of my Notion.

These would take this to a whole new level and likely you can increase your prices another $25-50 a year is my guess.

Side-by-side compared against Apple (notes) and Rev. This is better. Honestly super embarrassing for Apple and Rev. If they built such quality with their first version, I can hardly imagine the future of this app.
