## What is VIETNAM COMBAT zero?

プレイヤーが率いるのはアメリカ陸軍。4人編成の長距離偵察部隊「ラープ : LRRP」（Long Range Reconnaissance Patorol）。グリーンベレー等の特殊部隊員ではないものの、現地選抜の精鋭部隊である。
　南ベトナムを共産化の波から救うという「正義」のために、戦っている。

　対するは、ゲリラ戦を展開する、数に勝る南ベトナム解放民族戦線（ベトコン）の兵士たち。農村出身者がほとんどで、欧米資本主義の強大な力に食い物にされようとしている南ベトナムの同胞を救うという「正義」のために、命がけで戦っている。

　ふたつの「正義」がスマートフォンの画面の中で、局地戦を繰り広げる。
　少人数の精鋭で過酷な任務を遂行し、生還できるのか・・・。


■いつでもどこでも簡単な操作で複雑な戦闘！

　「シミュレーション・ウォー・ゲームって、おもしろそうだけど、難しいんじゃないの？」

　確かにパソコンが普及する前の「ヘックス式ボードゲーム型」はそうでした。
　細かい文字を何ページも読んでルールを覚え、対戦相手を探すのにも一苦労。一万円近くはたいて買ったものの、結局、一度も対戦することなく眺めるだけ、ってことも少なくありませんでした。

　パソコンが普及すると、数多くのシミュレーション・ウォー・ゲームが発売され、ファンにとっては良い時代でしたが、主力ががスマートフォンへ移ると、見栄えが良くテクニックが必要となる 3Dアクション・ゲームが主流となり、作戦をじっくり考える「ボードゲーム型」のウォー・ゲームは影をひそめることに。

　「VIETNAM COMBAT」は、スマートフォン専用の「戦闘級」ウォー・ゲーム。
　通勤電車の中や休憩時間、ベッドやトイレの中など、ちょっとした空き時間で戦えます。
　操作はいたって簡単。プレイヤー側の「兵士」をタップすると表示される「指示」を選択し、対象の「敵兵」や「地面」をタップするだけ。複雑なことはすべてスマートフォンが担当します。


■なぜ高額なのか？（たくさん売れないから！）

　無料アプリが大半を占める中、「VIETNAM COMBAT」は比較的高額です。
　それは「ベトナム戦争のゲリラ戦」をテーマにした「ヘックス式ボードゲーム型」の「戦闘級シミュレーション」という、とても狭い狭い範囲のマニアックなアプリだから、です。

　そう、そんなにたくさん売れませんよね。

　でも、「VIETNAM COMBAT」開発チームは、全員がサバイバル・ゲームとシミュレーション・ウォー・ゲームを愛するマニア集団。まずは「自分たちが楽しめるアプリ」を、そして、世界中に存在するであろう「自分たちと好みを同じにする仲間」たちへ向け、このアプリを送り出しました。

　その基準は「自分だったら、このぐらいの値段なら買う」です。


■今後の展開（追加費用なしに、できるところまで頑張ります。）

　この「VIETNAM COMBAT」を拡張したいところは、たくさんあります。
　まず、ベトコン側を操作したい。ユニットとしては北ベトナム陸軍も組み込んであるので、早い時期に機能を追加します。

　そして、複数のシナリオを連結させる「キャンペーン・ゲーム」。移動・索敵殲滅・待ち伏せ・脱出、というな流れを、同一部隊で戦い抜く。これには、負傷した兵士の応急処置や倒れた兵士から武器・弾薬を調達したり、M60軽機関銃や RPG 対戦車ロケット・ランチャー、M79グレネード・ランチャー等の分隊支援火器が必要です。実装にはそう時間はかからないことでしょう。

　マップやシナリオも拡充します。何よりも実現したいのは「トンネル・ラット」。視界の限られたトンネル内へ拳銃のみで単身潜り込む偵察任務。たまりませんね。

開発に時間がかかっているみたいだけど、武装が多種になったり、ガジェットも増えたらすごく面白そう！ あとマルチ機能を搭載したらウォーゲームが流行になるかもしれない。とにかく、すごく面白くて期待のできるゲームです。あとは開発者さんの特報を待っています

The game is good and very specific about reloading how you have to depress the bolt catch and everything but I’m not sure what all the different positions are sometimes I shoot at an enemy and they fall. Does this mean they are injured are prone or what? If I shoot at them again they turn red. Are they dead? Because some times they change back to black again. It would be super helpful if you added some sort of guide or tutorial to help with this. Also so stuff is in English some in Japanese so I’m not sure if I missing something or not but please add a guide or tutorial to help with this. Thanks

I think this is a great game but you can’t play as the communists. This angers me because they won the war. Apart from that it is a great game that you should download.
It’s better than any other Vietnam war game I have played(this is the first one I played)
