I attempted to use multiple menus, yet the app kept displaying this message: “Couldn't read the menu. We couldn't analyze the menu. If this is an unintentional mistake then you are forgiven but if it is a ploy to boost downloads then it’s deplorable. Another issue is the app wasn’t tested on a normal sized iPad. The option to choose from a photo is mostly cut off. Richard Sent from my iPad 9 ### 3/5 — Still buggy *2025-04-13* Took several reinstalling to get lifetime to show up but then faced with a 20 minute onboarding answering clicking I actually understood why the app was so large and bloated (I honestly just thought you forgot to optimize your app) but nope it’s the long onboarding part affirmation building part overreach in privacy. Is a great idea but might I suggest you practice what you preach and reduce the unnecessary over bloated not necessarily more than advertising and slim the app down. On older phones actually even newer iPhone SE 3 64GB isn’t a lot when every app is like yours in 2025 larger bigger yet easily could be cut in half with good coding and only focusing on iOS 17+ Just my 2 cents ### 2/5 — It can’t read any menu I feed it *2025-04-14* Cool idea. But I pulled down several clear mania from Google Maps as well as a couple “wallpaper” sized menus off random web searches. Not a single one worked with this app, they all get the error: “Couldn't read the menu We couldn't analyze the menu. Please try again or upload a clearer photo” If a clear large scan of a menu PDF fails with this, I have no confidence this app will work randomly scanning menus from my phone in a dimly lit restaurant.
