### 1/5 — Great idea, terrible execution

This app purportedly has some amazing features. However the operation and functionality of the app severely under-delivers. On latest iOS, it’s freezes, crashes, times out, loads forever, buttons don’t click through to the next screen, alerts can’t be changed. I never used it on other versions so I don’t know if this is a specific platform issue. But in no way would I ever pay money to use the app as-is.

At current value, it is only worth a headache. if you want to get any useful information from it, you have been warned. 

Really hoping they fix this app, make it more easy to use, and make it function reliably.

Ich nutze die Viewfindr App seit ihrem Erscheinen und bin immer wieder von der Präzision der Wettervorhersagen beeindruckt! 😍 Ich weiß schon am Vorabend, ob sich das frühe Aufstehen lohnt! Die Viewfindr App motiviert mich immer wieder raus in die Natur zu gehen, um das Himmelsfeuer in der Früh oder am späten Abend mit meiner Kamera einzufangen!🔥 Darüberhinaus kann man hier mit anderen Hobby-und Wetterfotografen tolle Fotospots teilen und somit neue Orte erkunden! Seit Neustem kann die App sogar die Wahrscheinlichkeit für Polarlichter ermitteln! Auch das gelingt ihr mit Präzision!!💚 Für einen Abo Preis von 3,99 ist diese App wirklich jeden Cent wert!🥳

Bevor VIEWFINDR rauskam, waren Wetterbedingungen für mich nur schwer händelbar. Die Wahrscheinlichkeiten auf das Wetter war eher ein Raten als ein Wissen. Ich hab mich versucht hier einzulesen um besser vorbereitet zu sein, aber das hat sich mit dem Release von VIEWFINDR erledigt.  Für den Preis von einem Bier in der Kneipe, kann ich morgens entspannt liegen bleiben oder mir den Wecker stelle . Ich bin sehr überzeugt von der App, die man natürlich auch verstehen muss. Zu allen Sparten gibt es ausführliche Beschreibungen und selbst die lächerliche Erhöhung auf 3,99 ist mehr als gerechtfertigt für das Produkt was man erhält. Ich bin seit dem 1. Tag dabei und werde es noch viele Jahre bleiben

Die App bietet tolle Möglichkeiten für Wetterfotografie mit umfangreichem Hintergrundwissen! Man muss sich allerdings mit den Tutorials beschäftigen und Wetter ein bisschen verstehen lernen. Wie die unterschiedlichen Angaben zusammenwirken sollte man verstehen lernen. Denn einerseits kann Abendrot am Himmel sein, aber trotzdem können dir Wolken im Weg sein. Die Tutorials sind super erstellt, damit man gute Grundlagen hat.

Die Vorhersagen sind schon recht gut, wobei man keine absolute Richtig- und Wahrscheinlichkeit erwarten kann und darf. Viele Wettereinflüsse können gar nicht genau vorhergesagt werden. Jedes Berechnungsmodell erstellt nur bestmögliche Annäherungen. Gerade bei Polarlichtern sind immer Unwegbarkeiten vorhanden, die man auch nicht wirklich so präzise Vorhersagen kann, wie man es sich wünschen würde. Die Informationen sind auf jeden Fall so gut, dass man planen kann.

Die App ist die mit Abstand beste App für alle, die viel in der Natur unterwegs sind und tolle Lichtstimmungen und besondere Wetterphänomene fotografieren wollen. Auch die Polarlicht-Vorhersage ist konkurrenzlos! Man muss sich aber tatsächlich die kurzen Tutorials innerhalb der App anschauen - das ist extrem wichtig zur Bedienung!
