BUT it’s not all bad. I don’t think that their is a quality control department I did do research and couldn’t really find help I did speak to someone like a year ago and didn’t get feed back I think I was supposed to hear something back never did lol. The problem occurs off and on with the connection? I sent the issue to the help center so we shall see. ### 1/5 — Incoming calls do not work on IOS *2019-06-15, version 2.3.6* This was a great feature and it did work. This defeats the purpose (IMHO). If I was expecting a call, I would be at my desk - the point of this software is to allow me to accept unexpected calls when I am away from my desk. Since this lack of “our-of-app” notification breaks the most basic feature, I have to give it one star. I really hope Vertical/Wave fixes this issue - I really would like this software to work as it should. ### 1/5 — Works, but minimal functionality *2017-09-28, version 2.3.4* Notifications take so many gestures to open, swipe left, tap view, enter password to unlock phone. I usually miss the call. My company only allows connection while on our wifi. If I forget to turn off notifications before I leave I get all notifications and can't turn them off, or log out. No ability to set a ringtone App is clunky, slow, and ugly. ### 2/5 — Status Updates Failing to Sync with Desktop *2017-09-25, version 2.3.4* So, we have a lot of users who are in and out of the office all day. If they leave and update their status using this mobile app, it doesn’t update anyone’s desktop client application unless one logs out then back in! ### 1/5 — iOS notifications broken *2017-06-13, version 2.3.4* Not sure if new iOS or app version but the notifications no longer pop up on banner or otherwise. Our users are missing incoming calls completely and that's bad for business. Please resolve! Only option is to switch to forward to external numbers and we lose tracking of calls and all other options. ### 1/5 — No Support - Unreliable *2015-09-27, version 2.3.1* We've been using the Vertical Wave hardware for 4 years, and I've had their iOS app since its release. The app must connect with our hardware to work, and connectivity is hit-and-miss, mostly miss. When it connects, functionality is spot-on. When it won't connect the app is useless. Vertical offers no direct support and forces users to work through their dealer network. It was working ok until all of a sudden it wasn’t. First the app was giving me login issues. Then the app suddenly started crashing every time I would try to open it. I deleted it and reinstalled it hoping that would help. It didn’t. Now I can’t use the app at all. ### 1/5 — Discontinued app *2022-05-18, version 2.3.6* App no longer works. When it was working it barely did. I’m pretty sure they just gave up on it. CallKit support should be a no brainer. Built in vpn support in the app would be great. Random sign-out and connectivity issues. It constantly requires me to log in. Once I do, it is somewhat functional for about a day. Push notifications are not enough. We need CallKit support so it actually rings. Alternatively, it could benefit from playing a loud, long ring rather than a little default alert sound. I can not believe it still does not support modern devices resolutions! When actually on a call, LTE connection seem fine. However, calls taken over WiFi do not roam to other access points or switch over to LTE when WiFi is lost. This is very unprofessional when on an important call. I would love for these issues to be fixed. Have been using for a couple of years. No major issues encountered. ### 5/5 — SIP phone is amazing! *2014-11-29, version 2.2.1* SESSION RELOCATION IS AMAZING! I can’t believe I can move a SIP softphone call over to my cell phone provider if the data connection is failing. It’s amazing! Must be seen to be believed It’s amazing how fast and clear the SIP phone is once out admin got it set up on the server side. Calls connect quickly, and I don't get disconnected when going between wifi and cell data - not sure how they did that but it's great! And if my internet gets interrupted for any reason, the other side of the call automatically gets put on hold until I get back!
