## What is Vigia?

Vigia keeps watch over your anchorage so you can relax — at anchor, on deck, or asleep below.

Mark your anchor and Vigia draws a guard circle on the map. If your boat leaves it — the anchor is dragging — a loud alarm sounds, even with the silent switch on and the screen off.

What makes Vigia different
• Learns your swing circle automatically — no rode length to enter; it watches the boat swing and works out the real pivot and radius.
• Smart alarm — guards against a single bad GPS fix, and only widens the circle on a genuine swing, never on a drag.

Wind at your mooring
• 24-hour wind forecast at your anchorage: wind, gusts, direction + an hourly graph.
• Set a gust threshold — hours above it turn red, so you see the blow coming.

Built for a night at anchor
• Background watch, screen off; adaptive GPS (dense while learning, easy on battery afterwards).
• Selectable alarm tones, audible over the silent switch.
• Recenter on the real pivot; pause when you go ashore; clean stray track points in one tap.
• Hand the watch off to another iPhone over AirDrop.

No account, no API key. Wind data by Open-Meteo.

Important — Vigia is an aid, not a substitute for a proper watch. It carries no nautical charts and cannot see hazards. The safety of the vessel and crew remains the sole responsibility of the skipper. Use at your own risk.
