## What is Vigilantes Camera?

Vigilantes is an unofficial fan-made camera app for capturing light and movement in a different way. Shoot photos and videos with three filters, or apply them to photos and videos already in your library.

Three filters
• Ballad of You: Turn people into animated red characters against a depth-shaded monochrome background. Supported cameras use depth sensors; other cameras estimate depth with on-device AI.
• Symbol: Add glow and light trails to bright areas, with symbol-shaped bokeh around small light sources.
• Kaleidoscope: Split the scene into crystal-like facets with refraction and color dispersion.

Capture and library
• See filter effects live while taking photos and videos
• Switch between front and rear cameras, choose supported lenses, and pinch to zoom
• Import a photo, preview filters, then save or share
• Convert a library video with progress and cancellation, then preview, save, or share
• Keep originals unchanged; saving creates a new photo or video
• Library results are center-cropped to 9:16 portrait or 16:9 landscape at 1080p. Videos use up to 30 fps and retain original audio when it can be included

Before you start
Requires iOS 17 or later. English and Korean are supported, with English used for other languages. Filter appearance and processing speed vary by device, lighting, and subject.

The first use of the library feature requires an approximately 60MB download of additional files. An internet connection is required; keep the app open while downloading. Live camera capture remains available without the download. Photos and videos are processed on-device and are not uploaded to a server by the app.

Camera access is needed for capture, microphone access for recording sound, and Add to Photos access for saving. You can record silent videos without microphone access. Library imports use the system Photos picker to select individual files.

Vigilantes is an unofficial fan-made app.

*2026-10-09*

**Developer response:**

**Developer response:**

**Developer response:**
