## What is Vigishield Anti?

The Nexans Vigishield Anti-Counterfeit app enables authentication of products tagged with the Vigishield Anti-Counterfeit sticker. It smoothly guides the user through the simple authentication process.

How to use:

To scan a code simply open the app and frame the code into the brackets. After that, move the phone while keeping the tag in focus, so that we can capture the hologram from different angles. The app will automatically recognize the authenticity, and confirm if you have a real or a fake product. Please use the in-app tutorial for additional instructions.

Why use Vigishield:

• You can make sure the product you want to buy or will be using is authentic and thus safe to use
• Help us fight counterfeiting
• It’s free, there are no costs at all for you (with the acceptance of data usage)

Requirements:

In order to use the App, your phone will need a camera with autofocus and a working internet connection.

### 8.1.5 — 2024-04-05

Vigishield Anti-Counterfeit functionality has been merged into the Nexans app. You likely already have it installed if you followed previous informational popups or use other Nexans tools. This update disables the Vigishield app and redirects to the unified Nexans app.

### 8.1.4 — 2023-12-13

Vigishield Anti-Counterfeit functionality is now available in the Nexans App. This update adds a startup message to assist in switching to the new unified application.

This release contains authentication improvements. Please note that the Vigishield Anti-Counterfeit app will be merged into the Nexans app in a future update.
