"Vigo" is the official app of Vigo for citizenship and tourism. More than 5,000 city elements (centers and facilities, tourist elements, traffic and transport services, city resources, street map, ...) and access to real-time data (such as traffic status, cameras, upcoming bus arrivals or the temperature in different parts of the city), as well as access to daily updated information such as news, notices, agenda, calls,... The Vigo App has the most complete tourist information of Vigo. Hundreds of points of interest, interactive tourist routes and a travel guide of the whole city and the Cíes Islands. The "Vigo" app creates a direct and bidirectional channel with the citizens. It allows the user to subscribe to notifications to receive daily alerts on the cell phone about the latest municipal news, traffic cuts, cultural events, general and transport notices. The "Vigo" app also allows citizens to participate directly in the progress of the city by sending notifications about the state of municipal services, the city or suggesting ideas for improvement. The app structures the information in modules or "mini-apps" and works as if it were a new city-citizen operating system. The Vigo app can use your location to show you the nearest elements (bus stops, pharmacies, ...). The app will be able to use the location in the background to follow tourist routes. Si vas a las líneas no se leen las paradas ni nada. No hablemos del diseño!! La descargué para ver los temas de Vitrasa y va fatal. The app was helpful to plot our way through the city highlights to explore at our own pace. We did not cover all there was to see and do in Vigo but it was a a fun day for us.
