The upshot is that if you have this app installed on your phone, it is always pinging your location. All the time. This is a privacy violation and also consumes data and battery. The only way I have found to avoid this is to turn off cellular data for this app. If you are on wireless, of course, you are stuck. When I open the app, I get error messages that I just dismiss. I can still bring up the code to sign in at the gym. Im disgusted by this flagrant violation of my privacy. I’ve tried to download it several times and log into it and every time I try it tells me I have no internet connection, when I absolutely do.
