Ordered a lemonade and the waitress came and get and asked if would like a refill and said yes. When I got the bill found out they charge per glass for the lemonade. My coffee was hot, my lemonade was cold, and my food came out quick. She always asked if I was okay and if I needed anything. When I was done, she helped me set up my account for rewards. The rest of our food was good. However, the people who were responsible for our experience made all the difference! The greeter was friendly and told us about the app. I didn’t get his name. Our waitress, Stephanie, was beyond amazing from her smiling disposition to her prompt service and checking back with us! Another waitress, Kelsey, also was highly responsive and very friendly and considerate to us when we had the issue. The manager (I believe she was a regional manager) was very gracious and very quick to address our issue. Things sometimes happen when you eat out. How customers are treated makes all the difference in those times! Village Inn in Quincy has made an amazing turnabout with this new staff and ownership! I encourage anyone who hasn’t visited in a while to do so again! Manager super busy. ### 1/5 — Shady discount advertising *2025-11-26* They advertise five dollars off when you download the app, and on the webpage when viewed in mobile, you don’t read any caution that says that you must download the app before you create the account. So if you log into an account with the app, the phone will remember that you ever had an account on that app. So I try to make a new account because they’re fine. Print was shady. And didn’t let me know. I wasn’t gonna get the discount cause I didn’t create my profile on the app, and the app notifies me that someone’s already logged into an account on this phone. Glad I have multiple phones, but I’m only going to purchase ones from this company for Thanksgiving and never again. Only due to the shady business practice. ### 1/5 — Poor customer service *2025-07-31* We were seated with no menus so after about 10 minutes of waiting I looked at the hostess from my seat and mouthed silently, can we get menus, and I also used my hands for further sign language open and shut my hands like a book. At that point the hostess very rudely (with a harassed look) yelled you just need to wait or be patient. I’ll be honest I was so thrown by her attitude of facial expression, verbiage and tone of voice. If you don’t want to wait on people or can’t do it without attitude or ugliness you shouldn’t have taken that position. I do believe she is in a management position which literally made it 100% worse!! It was my first, last and only time I will ever step foot in that place again!! We have choices of where to dine. Most companies want you to choose their company, but I don’t know to many people who would willingly go back to a place just to get treated like that!!! I don’t take that type of attitude from family or friends and I’m certainly NOT going to take it from someone who was supposed to be earning money for the company that pays her by taking care of us with the smallest of effort and instead we all walked out still hungry to go somewhere that did appreciate our choosing them to support their business!!
