Geez ### 1/5 — Why do I need an app to get £1 off a pint?! *2024-04-26, version 1.0.2* I don’t understand why there is no other option than downloading an app, like showing membership card etc? Or why this isn’t part of the gym app? So stupid that we can’t use the app to get into the gym (need a card), but can’t use that card to get the discount at the pub? It’s obviously never been tested before release. Often won’t open, laggy generally not great. Takes far too long to be served, what was wrong with the membership cards? A basic QR code could have been incorporated into the members app easily if it had to be done this way. As of 20 January 2025 they’ve (Village Rewards) have given up on the points system, removing any incentive to actually spend money at the hotels, rendering the app totally useless, other than a 5% saving on food and drink, which is nothing these days. When taking into consideration.
