Trying to do firmware update on lenses.  This app doesn’t send code to verify phone number or email addresses.  Can’t u just let us download the firmware and we move it over to the lens like other manufacturers?

Also be advised, this app does NOT work on lenses with a USB-C connection. It is only for higher end lenses with Bluetooth!
Hopefully Viltrox will eventually update to a more compatible data server & offer descriptions in more languages besides Chinese. That could save some of us a lot of time and aggravation.

For some reason they want you to make an account to update the firmware of the lens. The lens locks up the camera without the update. When you try to make an account they say they send you a code and you have to enter it to proceed. They never send you the code. Have tried multiple time. Bad company. Broken app. Broken lens.
