The functions remain good, but now everything is locked behind a Pay wall in the worst way. I saw some old developer responses to people’s reviews stating that they determined that 10 free reports was adequate but I’m seeing now that it’s been shortened further to 5. I’m disappointed. I really thought this app was a game changer, but it’s just another cash grab. Deleting. —— Not only does this app provide you with tons of free info to help you make decisions on used cars, but it provides the links to legitimate and reliable sites that provide the info you’re looking for. I learned quite a bit from this app within the first 5 minutes of using it. THIS is how VIN lookup apps should be made. Now you can still lookup free iVIN Reports and also do a simple sign up for 5/mo free (60/year) - which includes all of the VIN info and links in one place, plus proprietary data and analysis not found in other reports. (It's not the same as the sites where you plug in a VIN and see some info, or have to pay over $10 for 1 report!) There are also low-cost monthly plans with the ability to cancel anytime. Thanks! ### 1/5 — 😕 *2021-04-15* this is a great app, when it works. I started using this app on my phone and I was using it so much I reached my limit so I upgraded my subscription to the unlimited. However it didn’t work and it still charged me monthly. It kept wanting me to sign up for the reports when I’m already paying for them through Apple Pay. Apple did credit me back one of the months that I lost. However, that’s not what I wanted. I actually wanted the app to recognize that I’ve already paid and let me continue to use the application. **Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for letting us know about this. Thank you! ### 1/5 — Useless, Same Information as Internet Search *2019-03-22, version 1.17* This app will not provide accurate information on the vehicles submitted. The first thing I noticed was wrong tire & rim size listed. I searched my own car that came from the factory with 18 inch wheels & this app lists it as having 17 inch wheels. This app also does not provide correct options that came with the car. Well, thanks to the free iVIN Report and the link it provides to the NICB, I discovered the “well-cared for” car that runs perfectly was in fact a salvage.
