Super helpful app, community, and an encouraging coach. I have tried to quit smoking for a few years, giving up, smoking, and trying to quit again. This program was my last, latest time trying to quit. And it was successful! I haven’t smoked cigarettes or used nicotine since May 2021. This approach stuck with me. It helped me SO MUCH having coach Sheryl’s support and making a solid plan, being patient with myself. It helped to make a list, “Pros (and cons) of quitting smoking”, a list of distractions, fun things to do. The app keeps improving. Now there’s a community of people who are supporting each other to quit smoking and stay quit. There’s new additions to the app too, now you can use it to help quit smoking marijuana and track use of substances. Having check ins and a plan are so helpful to me. Setting goals, and thinking about the future are Important. It helped me to realize it is possible to quit, though it’s difficult especially at the beginning, I was prepared in a way, by decreasing how much I was smoking over time, in the weeks leading up to actually quitting. I was only breathing at 83% that was when I decided I had to quit smoking! A friend referred me to Vincere Health and here I am! I’ve regained my life back smoke free living I’m able to walk and despite having had RSV and pneumonia I’m still a little out of breath had I continued to smoke I probably wouldn’t have healed as fast as I did my mom says she can hug me now and I don’t smell like smoke!! I can spray myself with perfume and I’m not masking myself with it anymore! When I cashed out I was able to go buy myself a few things I wanted and needed!! The money went to some things I enjoyed that I wouldn’t have normally had! The coaches are amazing their dedication and hard work to help you quit is phenomenal! My smoking coach is and was AMAZING!! I consider her a friend now! I miss that I don’t get to talk to her every week like I did! My coach Sheryl and I connected so well on a personal level, so it was easy to work with her to find out which methods worked best for me throughout the week program.
