Or it’ll stop communicating completely and there’s no way to fix it or anyone to help troubleshoot. Don’t buy. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2025-02-26, version V2.4.3* I’ve had this thermostat connected to my 5 ton central HVAC unit for a couple months now. There’s a few negatives I’d like to mention. The thermostat is difficult to connect via the app. You must attempt the connection several times before it actually connects. The thermostat won’t update its software automatically whereas you must manually update it. I’m pretty sure this thermostat caused my hvac’s filter board’s failure due it not being updated therefore causing my hvac to not operate correctly. The thermostat has glitches.
