Not sure why reviews are so bad but app works great and vine thermostat works great. Easy setup, straightforward simple app with some extra scheduling functionality. Vine support was also fantastic, sent them a picture of my setup and they promptly replied with options on how to get it setup.

Wasn’t the easiest install but it has been amazing being able to turn on and off the AC from my phone, create a schedule that I like and have the peace of mind that it isn’t running up the bill.

The app does not accept underscores in the WiFi SSID so if you have a WiFi network which has an underscore in the name, guess you'll be reconfiguring your whole network just to use this device.

**update** don't even bother with this app. You can use the device directly with the Tuya Smart Life app and it works much better!!

In the past I could connect my thermostat to the app but it would often disconnect. Now, it won’t connect at all telling me I have the wrong wifi password which I know I don’t. Pretty worthless if the app doesn’t connect to the thermostat.

UPDATE for what it’s worth:  this app has been plagued with issues.  The developers can’t or won’t test the app before releasing an update.  I have since removed the thermostat and all due to the worthless app.  You cannot rely on this app.  I’m glad to be rid of it.

This is, without a doubt, the most useless app ever.  Apparently, the developers are morons with no pride in their work.  The app has stopped doing what it is supposed to do.  Who is on the app development team, a bunch of toddlers?
