## What is Vingle, Interest Network.?

Vingle, where people love what you love.

Have you ever had a time when you start reading an article or talking to some friends about something and when you finally look up, hours have flown by? Do you have one hobby, book, or TV show that brightens your day? Then Vingle is the place for you.

Think back to a time when you had a joke or a thought that was so funny that you had to share it with someone. You go to your close friends, but they never watched that Anime or aren't into that book series. They don't get it. It's a bummer to not be able to fully geek out on something you love.

In instances like this, we often censor ourselves on social media in order to maintain a certain image or just to not annoy our family and friends that don't have the same hobbies. On Vingle, though, there is no need to limit how many times you post about your stamp collection, or favorite boy band. Your posts will go directly to a community of people who get you, who want to talk about that as much as you do!

We believe that being ourselves and sharing what we truly love is the best way to relieve stress and simply be happier. That uplifting feeling from finding someone who understands you, is priceless and invaluable to a joyful life. It is our passion at Vingle to create that space for people to feel that sense of belonging.

Whether you're looking for tips for your upcoming Japan trip from fellow Studio Ghibli fans, book suggestions from murder mystery addicts, or you just want to chat, share, and learn about your hobby or passion, Vingle is the community for you.

Join communities based on your Interests, follow people who love what you love, and share anything from a simple question to a long post with videos and photos. You can even create your own communities if you want to get more specific about your interest! Communities can be anything from general 'Movies' to something as specific as 'Quentin Tarantino's Left Eyebrow' if you're really that interested in it ;) You're in control!

So stop hiding your passions and enjoying your hobbies alone. Geek out on Vingle, where people love what you love. The only question remaining is:

"What are you into?"

### 1/5 — When they say individual

*2022-07-10, version 4.7.24*

What they really mean is our prefabricated boxes. Not for the truly individual and creative unless you enjoy squeezing into tiny little boxes.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2022-03-09, version 4.7.24*

How do you delete your account.

### 3/5 — Some suggestions

*2018-02-14, version 4.1.7*

I’ve been around for a couple years and yes just like most other posters who have been around for a while, I don’t like how it changed. But I have a couple suggestions to get the general feel back. We all miss mods most of all. So rather than having none or bringing the old system back which wouldn’t work anymore, why not have a system where posters nominate and vote for mods? The communities are quickly becoming unruly and irrelevant cards are everywhere. Plus multiple support teams have sprouted up in the same communities, causing fights. Idk. It just feels like a completely different app now.

### 3/5 — The Big Update

*2017-10-23, version 4.0.7*

I used to love Vingle and post all the time. However ever since the huge update and everything changed I hardly get on anymore. I feel like it’s become less convenient. I do like how we can make up our own interests, that solved the problem of having to constantly create more communities. But I do in fact miss the communities. They brought people closer together, made people feel more welcome, and made people post more often. Without the moderators irrelevant content pops up because no one is moderating the interests. I cannot contact my friends from the Vingle who don’t have another messaging apps because the messaging part is gone now. I understand it was filled with issues before and wasn’t well kept but at least I could contact my friends. I have fallen out with a couple now that we can’t contact one another. The app crashes a lot more often now too. I don’t like how my clipped cards don’t show up on my homepage. I wish you could choose between the one bar layout (the new one where you can only see one card as you scroll) and the old layout (where you could see multiple.) I do like how you can name off your main interests and have them below your name. I also like how you can have a background photo and a profile photo. I just wish Mods were back, the messaging part, clipped cards showing up on your page, and the ability to choose between layouts!

### 1/5 — Not impressed.

*2017-08-23, version 3.3.10.8*

Really liked the previous version but disappointed in the new update. Took a lot of battery drainage and heated up the phone after the update & while scrolling here and there in the updated app so I uninstalled it.

### 1/5 — Why, just why

*2017-08-22, version 3.3.10.8*

Not a fan of the new update. I had a lot cards I liked clipped to my profile and now they are all gone because of the update. I liked the clipped cards because they were in the app and I didn't have to save them to my phone. Also, now vingle reminds me of Facebook. I liked vingle because it wasn't like Facebook. Not worth your time. Not worth the space on your phone.

### 5/5 — Love this App!!!!!!

*2017-03-11, version 3.3.6*

This app is amazing for reaching out and making new friends with the same taste no one to judge just agree and We all get along so well #OtakuAmerica

### 3/5 — Cards cut off...

*2017-02-07, version 3.3.3*

I'm not sure if it is just me, but seeing as another reviewer said so it's not, all the cards I look at on this app cut off at a certain point and it's pretty annoying. I really love this app and enjoy reading the different cards in my communities but not so much now as it feels like I'm always missing something. Please fixed this in an update so I can give this app the 5 stars it deserves.

### 4/5 — Bug??

*2017-02-03, version 3.3.3*

I'm not sure if it's a bug exactly, but since the update I haven't been able to read cards all the way through it usually gets cut off. Hopefully you can fix it, its really annoying. Other than that I really enjoy the app!

### 3/5 — It's pretty good

*2017-01-29, version 3.3.0*

I love the app but when I opened up a card it said the only way I could read it was if I updated it. So I did and now every time I try to open a card, it freezes then crashes. I just updated it yet again and it still crashes.
