Sometimes I scanned Chicago album but it comes up the Beatles. Even tho it says Chicago in big letters. My biggest complaint is that it overvalues some reissues that are very recent. ### 2/5 — I really wish I could give a better review *2026-07-14* This is the start of a fantastic app. When it works correctly, it’s exactly that. 5 stars, unending loyalty. Sadly, it misses often. I don’t really mind that, the kicker is that you can’t edit some of its mistakes. Especially with bootlegs or represses, the app insists I have a $400 record and no amount of editing the details will change its mind. There’s two main ways I’d use this app: cataloging my records or checking value before buying. Unless a few things are fixed, it doesn’t do either well. Cataloging: please add a blank “notes” field. About 1 in 5 records aren’t assessed correctly. I can get the value on discogs, but there’s no way I can put it in here. Assessment- there are too many mistakes to be relied on. I bought a record I didn’t want the other day, because the app told me it was a $400 record. It wasn’t. And it was a common pressing. This isn’t the end of the world or anything, but if I can’t trust the value it gives, what’s the point? Why am I paying for something that I can’t count on? We're committed to making the app more reliable for you! ### 4/5 — Pratique mais… *2026-07-08* Super application pour celui qui a beaucoup de disques mais il n’y a toujours pas de mises a jour régulières de la valeur de votre collection et surtout il n’y a pas d’exportation en pdf. On se retrouve avec un XML qui ressemble plus à de la comptabilité qu’à un rapport de collection. J’ai déposé ces deux réclamations il y a des mois mais ils n’ont pas bougé depuis. Sometimes it works with the jacket on, and you can take a photo of the jacket. But not reliably. I tried rubber soul, and it would never take the jacket. I came across this app and thought why not? I scanned 8 albums and the value is more than I would have thought! My niece and her husband had there entire collection stolen. They replaced the record player now I can help build their collect! Every time i tried scanning them it always came up with completely different albums, even with mainstream albums! It doesn’t recognise zoetropes, or remastered albums even when they look completely different to the original mix. I don’t recommend this at all ### 1/5 — very incorrect *2026-06-22, version 1.6.0* tried scanning blonde by frank ocean, and it was very in correct specificity 40 dollars off. don’t use this app if you collect seriously or this can get fixed in the future. ### 1/5 — Ist das euer Ernst?? *2026-04-27* Gut für eine oberflächliche Einschätzung wenn man a) notorisch faul, b) am ernsthaften Sammeln GAR NICHT interessiert ist und c) schon gar nicht handeln möchte. Für ernsthafte Sammler hingegen völlig ungeeignet. Ich arbeite seit Jahren mit Discogs, verkaufe und kaufe über diese Plattform mit Erfolg, sammele seit 40 Jahren und weiß mit über 2.000 Tonträgern schon ein wenig über die Materie. Die Erkennung der Aufnahme in dieser App funktioniert oft aber nicht immer. Erschreckend häufig stimmte das Jahr der Pressung nicht - wie denn auch? Das Label alleine genügt nicht zur Identifizierung! Die Einschätzung des Zustands ist bei mir JEDES mal (ich habe 10 ausgewählt Alben gescannt) weit an der Realität vorbei gewesen. Richtig schlimm ist die Werteinschätzung, zumindest in den 10 Fällen wo ich mir 100%ig sicher bin war eine einzige Werteinschätzung halbwegs korrekt. Der Rest weit daneben. Für eine wirklich bekannte, sehr seltene Darnok Dvorak Pressung die MINT für 100€ aufwärts gehandelt wird, wurden mir weniger als ein fünftel genannt, auch nachdem ich den Zustand korrigiert hatte. Wirklich schade ist, dass man keine Informationen über die Aufnahme, die Solisten oder die Produzenten erfährt. Und schließlich: was ist eine Sammlung ohne Hüllen?? Das ist doch absurd! Ich quäle mich lieber durch 50 verschiedene Pressungen der gleichen Aufnahme und identifiziere mühsam über den Code im Runout - weiß dann aber auch wirklich Bescheid. Eine exakte Werteinschätzung, eine tolle Archivierung der Sammlung sowie die Möglichkeit zu kaufen und zu verkaufen gibt es beim einzigen ernsthaften Anbieter (Dis***gs) UMSONST. Darum: Abo gekündigt, App wird gelöscht obwohl ich noch 6 Tage 22 Stunden kostenlos damit arbeiten könnte. Aber warum sollte ich das tun??
